We had that same debate on another board. My point was that all toys we discuss here are made in Japan (or sometimes in China). Aren't Bwana's, Pushead's and Biskup's as well? Opening the "esthetics" door would mean Itokin, Bearbricks, Kaijin et al. should all be moved to American Idols... (I know it's sort of pointless, I just love debates!)
I always thought it should go where the creator is from. Otherwise everything here would end up in the JP area.
This thread should definitely be in the American idols section with boss carrion, Ollie, sludge demon, etc etc.
Thanks for everybody who bought one, appreciate it. As far as moving the thread, anyplace is cool with me. Just happy to even have one on here!
Just a reminder, on sale today via http://www.monsterworship.com Thanks everybody for the continued support, it's really amazing and appreciated.
Man, those are great! I can't decide between the Ice Blue versions or the Gold and Blue versions.. I really like the non-metalic green and yellow too. The metallic red and gold is nice too, but I'm not as crazy about that one as the others.. Maybe it's the gold eyes? I'm not sure.. They're still pretty sweet though. The Greasebat, M 5 Bravo, and Stee-Gar look amazing standing together! I can't wait to own all three and have them fight each other!
There will in fact, be several unpainted available of the two new guys. White vinyl, down the road a bit. Who by the way are produced by Unbox Industries.
this. they're sweet, but the gold eyes make them feel unfinished (or maybe over-finished?). so yes, there might actually be one release of these 2 that i don't add to my collection! but i'm quite smitten by all the other sets above.
So given the possibility of all these groovy metallic colors on M 5 Bravo and Stee-Gar, here's hoping some future Greasebats will be painted to match. Are you listening, Chad? On the other hand, some nice chocolately-brown or Garamon-red Bravos and Stee-Gars to match existing Greasebats would be pretty cool, too.
