Damn! Your toys don't really fit with what I collect, but I really appreciate the sculpts (and play-ability with the mix/match on the other figures). The other colorways have looked nice and fun, but this colorway is an absolute knockout! Love the gold on brown!
I think Jeff said this one was inspired by a bandai Gomora figure he has. I am in love with the gold spray.
Chad this new one is well worth the wait man nice job! never enough brownbase figures!! now please for the love of evil make a damn devilman tribute colorway!
thanks guys, I am very pleased with the results. Looking forward to more of the darker color vinyl...and of course glow , clear... well everything really.
LOVING this one!! Suh-WEET, Jeff! cough<Walter Chauskoskis green rub proto color version please please please>cough
I agree that is one awesome color combo! Another great release Jeff! Maybe I'll be able to snag one this time, the Greasy bastard keeps evading me ;D
Yeah, the green rub proto was what got everyone hooked! Looking forward to seeing a production version!
just a reminder , a few of these go on sale today, including a solid brown vinyl version http://www.facebook.com/GREASEBAT
I'll add my voice for the release of a colorway close to the proto's (even if I realize outlining all the scales may take some time...). Otherwise, clear pink!! Can't go wrong with that. Got an unpainted brown myself! (Oh and I'm curious, why is this topic in Japan Toys and not American?)
Woohoo! Got a painted brown! (thought about also getting unpainted, but I don't really collect unpainted toys)
I was debating where to put it when I started this thread. Ideas can come from anywhere nowadays. But since it was made in Japan using the same materials and craftsman I decided that it should go here. I thought PK's Boss Carrion should be here too. Anyways, these creators have got Japanese sofvi in their DNA and if you were to pick one up without knowing who made them, you will come to the same conclusion. Of course, Greasebat was brilliantly sculpted by Chauskoskis, not sure if he's in US or Europe though.
i think Walter is in Mexico. i know i would buy the green wash bat especially if they had Walter paint them all. got to talk a bit with him at nycc he was very very humble and a great talent that i hope to see many many more monsters from his hands.
