Time to batten down the hatches, hide the kids, and get your lists ready. Word on the street is they're close. Real close. The whole lot of them swarming in glowy and handpainted goodness. Those M1 Glow Manda's are spectacular!!! I'd shine a flashlight on them for an hour before bed every night. Chris
holy crap!.....uh.......i gotta go change my shorts........ leave it to wonderful paint to get me interested in new sculpts.....
I was lucky enough to score a couple of pieces from the S7 show last year, and believe me, pictures do not do Koji's work justice. The depth of color is astounding. I'm hoping for one of those Mandas.
Those Mandas are sweet, but I think the Gorgos may be my fave - That's a full-size Gorgos, not a mini, right? (Don't have mine at hand to compare.)
I think I like Koji's GID work more than anyone else's, and sometimes think I like it more than anything else he does, custom-wise. They are really something. There was a Manda at the Kaiju Kollision show last year ... spectacular.
where to get them? Hope its not a dumb question, but where do buy these from? Amazing stuff, I would love one of those Mandas, M1 rules!
Can't wait. I always miss this stuff because I'm on the west coast but hopefully I'll score something of koji's someday.
i already dibsed the mandas! hahaha... hoping i get something this time around too! love koji's work! miami: i think it's a mini
I am pretty sure that is a standard Gorgos. The minis are much less detailed. My favorite is the Marusan Barugon. Here's hoping.
cool, I was going by an email from koji which I probably misinterpreted, heh. I mentioned the mandas and the gorgos and he mentioned full-size and minis in relation to price, so I just assumed - also it probably would have said mini on his flickr if it was one - i stand corrected!
Don't assume that the Mandas or other good stuff has already been nabbed, plus I don't think folks will know what they got today, because it's not first-come first-get. His email specifically says "If I get several requests for the same figure, I will select people randomly. Payment details will come tomorrow ... ."
