That Audi commericial was sweet. Fast and Furious 4 looks ok. a lot more action it seems like than the others.

 

I won't get my hopes up, but I'll at least try to be optimistic. Either way, GI Joe was a huge part of my childhood, and this one is going on my list.

I'm honestly pretty geeked on G.I. Joe. As much as some people balk at it, I love seeing franchises from my childhood still around. I just hope that it doesn't suck horribly. I guess even if it does, I will still like it in a certain way.

 

I used to like gijoe as a kid but the trailer looked terrible. b-movie at best and I have no faith in the director.

 

my feelings exactly. I'll go see it for the sake of nostalgia, but I have no faith in Stephen Sommers who brought us such stinkers as The Mummy, Van Helsing, Scorpion King... ugh.

 

Too bad Michael Bay is busy with Transformers 2

They showed Cobra Commander in the trailer? I only saw Destro, whose face they did show (no silver facemask).

 

there wasn't enough cobra faction footage to get me excited yet.
i've always been a cobra fan more than the joe's side.
i was always rooting for cobra and loved the dreadnoks with the cartoons....

 

Am I the only one who isn't excited about this move? The trailer was weak! I laughed so hard and was like...really that's it!

 

whats up with the no silver face on destro i don't really care for that tho it might be one of those situations were by the last fifteen minutes of the movie he gets the silver face. also zartan is aparantly in the movie minus the dreadnoks thats not cool, and where the hell is cobra commander. definatly one of those movies i kinda want to see but there is no way i am paying to have my nostalgic memories shit on.

I'm not impressed,but I'm sure I will see it..I loved Gi joe as a kid.I'm already used to the movies being made from childhood cartoons sucking..so I take whatever crap they spew out

All this shit looks just like X-men, Fantastic Four, Matrix, Transformers, blah blah blah ad nauseum.

 

yep, they are all essentially the exact same movie, just different bits of dialogue and costume changes...
