Wow im really digging this figure, very interesting sculpt, reminds me of a huge title wave.

 

When you think of it, the new sculpt is a kind of umi-bozu...just not black...or round...hmmm...maybe it's umi-bozu's cousin.

I'm not a super big fan of the original artwork, but I think the figure came out nice. Odoron will be released at the end of the month. Super7 should have a few.

It seems like this will stand out compared to the other midsized sculpts so far, as they have all have been or appear to have been based on 2d illustrations of clean characters designs, which are also symmetric when facing. This is so sculptural and asymmetric.

 

Makes me want to head down to Santa Cruz.....I like the sculpt and would need to see it in hand but the third eye throws it off a bit

 

But third eyes are SO Santa Cruz!

 

Really digging this new sculpt. As mentioned above, what's not to like about a wave-monster ?

Didn't release it was going to be that expensive (not bad but I thought more in the 60 range.)

 

Its another artist collab which most retail about 7500 yen. Gotta share the wealth!
