So many sell outs this year compared to previous years. I was hoping to do an in person pick up at S7 but they are gone with the wind. I like that the pricing has gotten these in more hands. I assume that's the case and not smaller quantities of bags.
Probably the pricing. I ordered same amount as last year... which I would imagine is small fry compared to MPH or S7. My unique pull in my bag was a stone mini Standing hedo. so maybe we'll see crawling and smashface?
Pricing definitely pushed me to a yes. that--and a nice array of painted standards to possibly score from. unpainteds are not really a focus in my gargamel corner.
Question! For those keeping the figures with guts. Are you going to insert the guts? I am just curious to see what it looks like and how much hair drying is needed to insert it. - Maddie
first two bags, from FOE 1st bag on right: Mecha Miborah (gun hands), mini crawling hedo, chibi tetran alpha (2 eyes) w/ guts, micro 3eyed with scooter. 2nd bag: Tetran Beta (one eye), mini crawling hedo, chibi mibora w/ guts, micro visor with scooter.
Painted ones are looking real nice. I really dig the guts sculpt now that I’m seeing more pics of them great price for the lucky bags and even better response from the collectors.
Inserted it per part then connected them. The guts vinyl is softer so its easy once you blow dry them. Connection is pretty solid so it wont come off.
Possibly discussed elsewhere but one tip for heating up vinyl is to stick the figure inside a cardboard box. You can either cut a hole or slip the blower of a hair dryer between the top flaps and hold them shut to contain the heat. Just be warned, the parts can get really hot to the touch!
Wasn't able to grab a bag before they sold out everywhere, so I'll be watching from the sidelines on this one. Congrats on the great pulls so far! Keep the pics coming!
It's been a long while since I posted here. I haven't bought a lucky bag in several years, but the new lower price got me interested again. I really didn't know what to expect at far as characters this year, but I knew I wanted a zodiac because I never was able to get one from a bag in all my time trying. Well this year I got a zodiac! I'm pretty pleased with that.
