This is really ugly This week-end is the biggest flea market in Europe (in Lille). 100 kilometers long, 10 000 people selling. For treasure hunters.
Yeah, it's great and a nightmare at the same time, there are so many people, it can take 45 min to walk less than 50 yards in some narrow streets. It's called the "Braderie de Lille". You still have time to come over
It was a cartoon in the mid 90s in the US. Same old story: teenagers, crazyradioactive chemical or some other nonsense and BOOM, now theyre sharks! ...Inthe streets lol I think i have a shamu somewhere who wad like a friend they would sometimes team up with a la Casey Jomes/TMNT Edit: just looked it up, the shamus name was "Moby Lick"
More boot-sale goodies . . . . actually, the Asterix & Obelix plushies were from a charity shop (i dont usually buy plush toys but i make exceptions). haha . . . beer swigging E.T and cross-dressing E.T think they're too cool for school. The plushies are complete too . . . I bought a much larger plush of Asterix a while ago but he's missing his sword and gourd.
What the hell is up with those E.T's, haha. They remind me of a bunch of drawings that came up lately ... -Andrew Jeffrey Wright
I can hear the music now. found earlier, see earlier post in this thread I found this bank a few years ago. Paid $3.95 This was found at a sale right near work for a dollar. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was glad the profits could go to a homeless shelter though and would have gladly paid more. I don't get to garage sales as much as I used to, but you'll never know what you may find.
Finally found the 'NOT' man Flexi-Face . . . 10p Flexi Face by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr And these two for 50p each . . . i've seen these online and always assumed they were He-Man style bootlegs. Is that correct or are they from some toy-line? Does anyone know? Wrestle Monsters by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr
...pretty rare to get garage sales in Australia these days, BUT markets still all the rage.. My days pick-up at Rozelle Markets in ConvictTown ($15 for the 4 x comic TPBs + $10 for the 1982 'Humphrey B Bear' light - and yes it works, and it's made of soft plastic/vinyl):
not in a garage sale, but in a flea market like $3 dlls for both aqua teen seasons and $2 dlls Murakami plush Flea market finds by Danlord, on Flickr
