Re: Amapro/Buster Call Muchee Muchee is sold; his four brittle wings are beginning to buzz him into lift-off toward a new home. But please, feel free to keep talking cheap beer preferences...
Re: MVH Doji-San 1-off from Summer's Cauldron Dang, does not sound fun. Especially sorry you were so nice to forego something especially for yourself from the show in place of this, which is now unappreciated. Ah well, someone here will give it a good home I am sure, so you'll get your money back, and hopefully he'll come away from it with a lesson learned.
Re: MVH Doji-San 1-off from Summer's Cauldron And that is really another element of this; when the box arrived, it was the day before the latest transgression was discovered. I handed it to him to open; it wasn't even a thought in my head to take it back at that point. It was clear from the way that he regarded it after opening that he was not that appreciative of it. And that would have been mostly fine- y'know, sofubi is dad's thing, not his, but he was caught up in the excitement of the show and dug that piece at the time, whatever. I would have just let him keep it, and maybe someday it would mean more to him, if only as a token of that trip (which, actually, ended on a huge bummer note b/c of his actions, anyway). But then the next night happened...
Re: Standard-size Amapro Muchee Damn, 10"?! Now that is some size I like, didn't know they came this big.
Re: Standard-size Amapro Muchee ^^ what he said. looks to have a lot more character than its mid sized counterpart.
Re: Standard-size Amapro Muchee I have this guy. He's incredible. I love everything Amapro, but this is extra awesome. Someone should buy him. I promise you won't be sorry.
Re: Standard-size Amapro Muchee John, there's a guy in my neighborhood who pulls his maroon Monte Carlo up in front of that weird, always-shuttered seafood place every Thursday at 3:30 PM on the dot, with a trunkload of Amapro and cartons of Larks... This is the fourth Muchee I have owned. I first owned the regular size Tokyo color version, and I absolutely rue the day I sold him (see my wants list ), for I have determined that he is the One & Most Perfect Muchee. My next was one of the cylcopean Wombat version in orange and green- LOVE that guy, and he will not be going anywhere any time soon. Then I picked up the Buster Call version. Though a terrific paint-up, in person it was missing something for me, and I wasn't going to rest until I altered it (with some additional paint touches) or sold it. Went the latter route, due to project time and collecting money being at a premium right now, and have no regrets. This big guy I pre-ordered a couple months back, and I've since decided he will really be shelf-hoggingly redundant once I am reunited with a regular size Tokyo (the O&MPM). There you have it. Having blathered all that... Paulie's right, this is indeed a wonderful toy in person. Amapro does great work.
Re: Sold Dang, I was hoping this guy would still be around until I got some money together. Someone got a sweetass figure at an unbelievable price. On the wants list it goes.
Re: B-Club Triple Fighter and Devils my trigger finger is smoking!!! this is the first non vintage toy ive purchased in a long while. congrats on breaking my vintage fever
Re: Price drops! Bull Man back on the block!!! Price drops on Roku and Gary/Jamila pair... and Triple Fighter Devil "Bull Man" is back up!!!
Re: Gara-shirt & CD bundles, Floating Mountainshelf! That shelf is so tempting. An amazing piece. What's it made out of, if you don't mind me asking?
Re: Gara-shirt & CD bundles, Floating Mountainshelf! Hey EFH- it's super-rigid, hollow-molded plastic. The shelf it sits on is wood, held to the wall with two heavy-duty L-brackets. And sorry, it's now GONE!
