New collaboration between FiveStar Toys and Punk Drunkers. To be released in early/mid October, but sadly is already sold out.
That Hell Missionary hood is crazy rad! Love it. Punk Drunkers do great with all their Kinnikuman collabs.
Hang on a minute, when was this released?! Does this mean that a painted Benkiman could be in the works?!?!
The painted Geronimo was released in July at Wonder Festival. A couple painted Benkiman versions are in the works (Punk D, Toyful). There was also an Atlantis test cast on display at the Kinnikuman Carnival last week. I hope this means we will see more Seven Devil Choujin sculpts. Blackhole up next perhaps?
As always many thanks for the info: can't wait to see both those Benkiman!! Would also love to see a painted Junkman
Love this colorway On a relatively different note does anyone know of an upcoming painted (possibly GID) Benkiman? Still waiting patiently for the day Five Star will finally release Soldierman, when it comes to camo I really can't control the compulsion.
I've got a question, and maybe someone has the answer (I'm thinking if anyone has this info its Nama Niku). So I have been going through the lists of all the fivestar releases: http://asyuramankakaka.web.fc2.com/index.html Specifically looking at the various blank releases, only Kinnikuman and Robinmask got a "A chromatic" release- a blank red, blue, yellow, green and flesh release. All other releases get a blank flesh vinyl release for sure (makes sense). Then you have: the Justice vs. Demon two packs of red and black Toyful Bright Pink 8-Style Gold and some random blanks (spirit Brocken, glitter Akuma Shogun, etc..) But given the origin of Kinnikuman toys with respect to Kinkeshi why doesn't Fivestar release more blanks in more colors? I'd love to see more blanks done in the colors that reference the colors the original kinkeshi and MUSCLE were cast in... Namely purple, neon green, orange, yellow, light blue, etc...
Everyone been keeping up with releases? The owner of the fantastically thorough Fivestar list page does not dissappoint: http://asyuramankakaka.web.fc2.com/index.html And nestled in one of the links was this pic: here's the link if you want the accompanying text------> http://asyuramankakaka.web.fc2.com/newpage3.html# Any translation would be greatly appreciated. And man, this is just a test shot, but what I wouldn't give for an Atlantis in this color (or a blank green release would be tops)
Hello everyone, after ten years of trying not to... I have finally given in to five star toys. I loved kinnikuman when I was growing up and now I am totally in the five star fever and can not wait for the new junkman and springman, since the Seven Devil Choujin was my favorite storyline.
My word! That is a crazy *and incredibly envious FiveStar collection. By their own, these toys really impress me, and spark my love for things Kinnikuman, but seeing the lot altogether like that is something else entirely. Thanks for digging that up Phil, and for sharing. What an amazing collection, from an obviously dedicated fan. I love it!
its just a toy, it's just a toy..... Did anyone here have any luck buying the last two flesh releases from Fivestar, Springman and wolfman? Buying service didn't work since they listed em at 8pm their time, outside of their hours of operation. If fivestar didn't only take bank transfers I would have been online purchasing myself and had it shipped to my buying services mailbox. Fivestar flesh unpainted are pretty much the only thing I collect anymore, but I'm getting tired of paying flipper prices for em.
^ ^ That is pretty sweet... and tempting. Thanks for keeping this thread alive. This is one of the first GID Five Star releases I've seen since I started collecting them.
I just won an unpainted blue Benkiman in the lottery they just had, and just picked up the green painted version in an auction. Before this I was only obsessed with M1 Matango figures but... I really really like these. I hate to admit it but I think Fivestar has a new fan.
i loved m.u.s.c.l.e. growing up...these are so great, but I knew there was no way keep up with the releases. I had to go for Benkiman. I remember not really understanding this figure as a kid. later I learned that toilets come in all shapes and sizes. Here's to me broadening my horizons.
I'm so looking forward to these three! I really hope fivestar does the claw version of sneagator at some point too.
