Not sure if a re-release, but they were available... So were scanner versions... Butthose were gone in the first 5 or so numbers called
Haha it took me a minute to realize you said "but those" and not "butt hose." Thanks for the info, I just saw on wtffunks flickr that they were released
Lol, I dropped my phone right when I got home from dcon today and am posting off a cracked iPhone screen :/ sometimes spacebar does not read
The black/silver BC first came out (of Paul's bag...literally) during SDCC09. The way Paul and I exchanged goods, you'd think we were dealing drugs.
Had a great time at DCon this year. A huge thanks to Maddie & Nate for helping me out. Oh and thanks to Joe too! Here's what I picked up.
My brother and I were around 15th or so in line this year. Unfortunately, then I made a rookie mistake - stopping for the con grab bag. 15th in line turned into 33rd for PK's booth! The Bosses and Joes sold out two spots before my turn. Despite that, I had a great time. Here's my haul: The surprise of the year for me was the Larry. That little guy has a lot of character and I wasn't expecting to see them at the convention. Huge thanks to Josh for the RV sketch as well. I already can't wait for next year!
I cannot believe how many brainers were at DCon, and that we didn't get to meet. I think I met about 15 or so board members (most who I had met before, a couple I hadn't) but seems there were even more - like a DCon take over. I guess the attraction of PK, Lulu S7, and TAG is not to be sniffed at! I participated in the blind box opening record attempt - cos it seemed like the not-cool thing to do - which made it fun for all the wrong/right reasons. Toys are awesome, but too often the fun component gets left behind in the politics and hunt for the elusive. DCon was FUN. More fun than some other events I've been to this year actually. Good times!
All week leading up to it and throughout I felt like it was a fetival, or rather a festivus. Allready excited for next year.
happened to be visiting family this past weekend. stopped by quickly to see what was up. got there around a bouts 1:00 or so. was nice to see josh and joe as always the earth wolf custom was great! wish i had the funds to pick it up. my wife loved it as well! haha thanks josh for the sweet doodle! scan coming soon. maybe it was my late arrival, but i wasn't really liking much of what was being offered there. super7 and christopher lee's booth were my only highlights.
You're welcome! ^____^ Ohhh you got the Seagool mash-up! By the time I thought to go there they were all gone. T _ T
Sorry you missed it. My sister stood in line to get it for me while I was waiting at Paul's booth. The other Monstergool version and a few other grody stuff was sold out by the time it was her turn. She said Lulubell's booth was just as crowded as Paul's.
What are the little, square robots in this pic called and who sells them? I love them and have a big, clear kaiju that would look ace filled with these.
Those are uh-oh toys. They shared a booth with MH and PK. I have a pic of his spread on the table, working on the flickr now: It was super fun to meet up with people, I was surprised how many fellow Portlanders there were. Hopefully next year we'll have an even bigger Northwest delegation with Arbito and the Grass Hut crew. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kaijuphotobooth/sets/72157628085136074/
^ Bwana siad he skipped out on Dcon this year because of all the other trips he had made to Southern California throughout the year. It's always fun to talk to him so I was bummed too.
Dont think so. Apart from the ORB version - a particularly limited variant that was found lurking in the rabbit hole. I love those Bunnies, a a pal picked up a bunch for me at SF57 when they were first released. Japanese vinyl, handpainted for 500yen. They are so cute!
