@Russblue11 that reclining Kewpie is fantastic, never seen before! What a great expression.

    Dig the pillowcase too :)

I've heard of those three. I don't have any Edward Mobley. Prescott did the original sculpt for this Pixie riding Snail toy, i'm pretty sure ...

Two vintage squeakers, the one on the left is older and has an articulated head. Note the newer one on the right is copying the same sculpt but with changes. The pads on his feet are a nice touch ...

Thanks, and yeah, that sculpt/toy is one of my favorites. The original toy doesn't have the flowers on the wheels, but those two with the brighter coloured vinyl were made by an Irish company (i think) that added them. They used them on a few other toys, like this blow mold Lamb ... another cool thing is they shaped the axles on them, so when they ride along there is a funny little up and down bobbing action which adds to the cuteness.

My most recent vintage Combex. I have a bunch of these squeakers that've been converted into child's toothbrush holders (they just drilled a hole in the top at the factory). I've never found one with the original toothbrush included before. This poodle was grimy as hell, but easily cleaned up nice as always. These old one-piece squeakers are very durable.

    ^^ @rattanicus
    He's a handsome chap, where's he from?

My most recent Combex finds, the dog is supposed to be Spike from Tom & Jerry i think. I've never seen this one before, he's a rare one.
Also, another Jack in the Box. You don't see any for years and then two turn up within weeks of each other ...

The sculpt is by Dreamland Creations 1956 (USA) , but this one has the original makers stamp scraped off and 'Made in England' slapped on near the squeaker. The paint is different to the american version too. It's either a good bootleg or they bought the mold, possibly when the other company went bust.

    7" long x 5" high.

I assumed the cat was the same size as the squirrel, that was a surprise when they arrived in the post.
