Oh wow, that's the cutest of the funky ever! And the fuzzy ears...
Vintage mother hen and chicks. This is a friction-motor toy.
It looks like the motor and wheels are recycled from a car toy. I'm sure i had a few friction-cars with exactly the same wheels!
As this one moves along, Mother's legs move around and the two chicks jump up and down alternately . . .
I'm guessing 1970's. Made by a company called CK.
£1 at a boot-sale.
Bendy Gumby 2002
20p at boot-sale.
Another nice Nohohon Zoku for my collection. Also, 2002.
^^ That looks like quite an old one . . . . what make is that?
Here's my most recent by Combex Creations. 10" high. Still squeaks.
He's rarer than the average large squeaker from Combex.
I've been told it's part of a pin bowling set~
Ah yes, sources say 1960's, which sounds correct to me.
They are quite rare apparently . . . .
Nice! I have a Fred Flintstone too. A friend says he's seen other characters at a flea market he frequents, so I might be able to add a few more!
Paddy Beaver from Rocky Chuck, 1973 I believe~
Vintage wind-up and waddle by TOMY.
1977. 20p at a boot-sale.
Wow! Love how the winder is in his tail! Why aren't more wind-ups made with similar attention to design...
Yep, TOMY knew what they were doing. It is a cool little detail isn't it . . . .
Some more Playful Pets, the pink rabbit doesn't glow like the others.
All around 20p each at boot-sales.
Monkey Jockeys. £1.50 for the three at a boot-sale. They are friction-driven. No.1 is knackered, the other two work perfectly.
I have no idea when these were made or who by. I would guess 1970's.
The little monkeys move up and down when they race along
^ First I've ever laid eyes on these beauties... wow. I like very much how the's horse's tails look like jet exhaust in your first picture.
Charity shop buy for 10p. Magic Nursery Baby from 1992 by LGT.
Vintage squeaker 5" High. Made in Hong Kong.
Anyone recognise Mr. Pink Dungarees here?
No idea if this is a licensed character or not . . . .
No clue but he kind of looks like Tom & Jerry mashed into one another ha!
Update photo of my mostly vintage shelfs in the kitchen . . . there are a bunch more on top of the fridge
and to the left on top of some cabinets (out of shot). Oh, and the cabinet below is chock-full too
Toy Collector slash Hoarder
Vintage 'Orinoco' the Womble by Combex.
One is a Squeaker the other has a hole drilled in the front so it magically becomes a 'Toothbrush Holder'.
Notice there is less attention to the paint on the holder.
The plastic bag cost me £1.50 at a boot-sale.
Made in 1974 and i'm guessing very rare.
Wombles, haha! Good stuff!
Awesome wombles stuff!
Peanuts Potpourri Holder.
It had a damaged hanging loop on the top of Snoopys head which i sliced clean-off.
