whatever, you guys can all shut up! I'm just jealous of the OPTIONS, whether or not they are good ones, because out here we only have the Big 3 (McD, BK, and Wendys), Taco Bell, KFC, and a few other craps and that's it. you guys have so many more choices to fill your body with garbage.

ALSO, it was moreso my idea to eat at Del Taco than missy's because while I do like real food, I love chemicals more. I eat fast food probably once a day, at least; I'm seriously thoroughly addicted and will probably die from it or at least get very, very fat. it's my only vice, other than collecting shit. but I'll get more excited to eat at some greaseball chain over some fancy shit anyday of the week.

but when in san diego... it's pokeez all the way!

i'm jonesing to go to philly though. i've never been there, but i have friends who tell about some vegan philly cheesesteak place.. i'm starting to salivate.

Pokez is terrible. People seem to love it because they have vegan/vegetarian options but the food is greasy and bland. Good, cheap and tasty places to check out next time you are in SD are Dao Son, Mama's Lebonese and Don Carlos. All of those places have vegan/vegetarian options. If you eat meat, then you need to check out Los Quatros Milpas, Blue Water and any of the previously mentioned places. I'm really going to make that map of where to eat in SD.

ASTRO kills all other fast food places. Dead. Biggest and best chicken quesadilla EV-AH!!!! Chciken club - amazing. Pastrami - the best.

LA also has damn good Sushi at great prices too! I have a favorite place not too far from the Astro locale - reasonable prices, great speciality rolls - and considering that it is reasonable and not hipped out, I have spotted Henry Rollins, Dave Navarro and just missed Paris Hilton in there. With her money she could go anywhere and she goes there, so I'm treating that as a pro not a con.

The place you are talking about is Gianna's, but they are pretty gross. I refer to their sandwiches as "a $6 laxative". Every time i eat it, I got sick. I actually know a girl who SHIT HER PANTS on a city bus coming home from eating there. hahaha

    that shit is not food.

but vegans seem to love it. It was so good, in fact, that they insisted that it was not vegan. Soy cheese does not melt like theirs. Soft serve does not taste so good.

There was so much doubt, that someone went so far as to get the ingredients analyzied...and guess what, it wasn't.

still, it is a decent vegetarian option (not vegan), but you still won't find me there!

I think missy is being pretty harsh! although I will agree that the veggie cheesesteaks aren't the best for the stomach.

still, I've had great veggie french bread pizza with fake sausage there, as well as an awesome lasagna with faux meat in it.

but as missy said, not vegan. I don't know why those rotten kids had to go and do that. when I was vegan, ignorance is bliss was the motto. if someone told me it was vegan, I believed them and enjoyed!
