Re: Is this New? okay so datadubs image is much more re-assuring, cause' in the first image the scarf looks really pink and in data's pic it looks like a much deeper red and not so queenie...
Re: Is this New? So wait the bandanna isn't pink ? I would prefer it to be more pink honestly. I LOVE this sculpt and the homage colors for the first release are great. I do however wish like the others he went with a probe arm. And boy if he makes a full sized head, evil and bigaro that would be amazing. I love the stance and proportions of this guy its all just right on the money to me. I like this better than the new evil/bat and head/akro mashups.
Re: Is this New? Yeah it does, but I like the Rebel Inks stance as well. I guess its either love it or hate it. I like this release but may wait to see what else comes out. I just hope to see some older style free hand sprays and not so many masks. Its all the masking that kills it for me. And speaking of the Shinto San I think it fell to the way side because of the lack of paint apps. When the last GID with half blue half black was released there where shots of multi-colored paint apps that where way better that never seen the light of day. I was hoping for that GID with red and blue rub that would have been sweet. The figure never really saw many releases that where great and its sad as I love the shinto and hoped to have seen the figure pushed a bit more. Maybe he will make a come back at some point.
Re: Is this New? That figure cracks me up for some rason. It's cool though. Would look good with a Shinto
Re: Is this New? At least Chaosman sprung for realxpants this time. I think the sculpt is great- always wanted an action figure style RxH toy. Don't particularly feel a need for another Kamen Rider homage. I think the 1 and 2 colors get trotted out a bit too much these days (not just by RxH). Why not use another of the Showa-era Riders, e.g., Black or Black RX? There was a really nice Machine Sider in the Black colors... wonder if that was ever sold.
Re: Is this New? this looks alright to me. nice to see even more new things coming from rxh though i would like to see an organ bat in this size
Re: Is this New? Smart theory. I didn't know you were a Shinto fan. I tend to agree. There were several no-paint releases before any of the killer paints kicked in. In fact there were only four that were available as general releases and those came at the end of the figure's history (thus far.) By that time a lot of people had decided that they weren't into the sculpt. My guess is that they would have liked it more if there had been some knockout paints early on. The one-offs that I see in photos of Mori's shop are spectacular. Anyway about the new dude, I see why someone said it looked a bit CCP. That crinkly-like extra level of detail. I always liked Chaosman and like everyone else hope the classic first four will see larger-sized releases.
Re: Is this New? Here it is (from Baikin's flickr): http://www.flickr.com/photos/vinylriot/3643708614/ Well, maybe it's not that similar. The black helmet with a racing stripe reminded me of Black. Nice paint job nonetheless.
Re: Is this New? The probe arm would have sold this for me. A shame, really. I've always loved Chaos but sold my collection (kind of regretting it now, of course) a while back and would have liked to start collecting RxH again. I can't wait to see what Mori does with this new scale though.
Re: Is this New? The one in the middle is a test paint - not sure if it ill be a release or not. The one one the left is the first release, one on the right is a test shot in sparkly vinyl. d
Re: Is this New? Since the arms are articulated at the forearm there is a chance for arm attachments in the future.
Re: Is this New? Since you got the inside tip . Can you beg Mori to do one with the cookie monster eye! Pleeease.
it's cool to see the chaos with a new body but seriously I think there are enough already feel free to pull the plug anytime.
While it is cool to see a new dimenstion for the chaos, and possibly others from the OG 4, to me, this loses the RxH feel that the standard figures have. The appeal of RxH to me was the size and stockiness (if that's a word) of the figures, along with the amazing paint sprays. The head to body proportion was/is perfect on the standard figs. The minis carried the same feeling as, once again, the proportions are spot on. I'm on the fence with this new guy. Like others, I need to see some outstanding paint jobs to suck me in. One thing I have a hard time getting past is the Dunce Hat look of the new large spike on the back of the head.
I want it in GID. I like it OK, but not enough to collect lots of colorways or anything. But in the end, I'll just have to wait and see what Mori does with this. He's always full of surprises. good ones. I like the simpler look and feel of the pre MZ3 series figs. I hope we see more of them as well as the new stuff.
