I was thinking the same thing... initially I was tempted to try and gather together a set of glittered parts but then realised when I scored the head that the sculpt details here were way more evident. Besides the bubblegum feel certain parts have, I'd now love to try this all over again with a different blend, no mad - but beautiful - marbled parts (like the black and GID) but more subtle combinations that really kick out the details.
So awesome that you managed to complete the bubblegum mix! The finished figure looks incredible, like I knew it would.
Damn RudeBeast, that looks amazing all pieced together Great job hunting it all down, the color really works nicely with the sculpt. It makes me want to stick him under my desk and save him for detention.
Thanks Cube, took quite a while but finally got there. I'm thinking of starting a second one all over again, just deciding on what colour. As soon as I find some time I'll shoot some better pics and post them
This is one of my favorite GID bemon's. The vinyl is a very bright lime green with metallic red/blue eyes. I wish I had a better camera to get a GID shot, my camera wont capture it.
Im sorry but the kougai kaiju sculpt is amazing... Sweet score dedo, thats an awesome bemon. Some may call it a big turd, i think its amazing..
Do I need to hold one, like a new born, and then suddenly I would do anything in my power to protect it?
He's more like caviar, or a fine wine... The Kougai Kaiju is an acquired taste. Personally the sculpt is in my top 3, what other toy out there has what looks like a vagina for a mouth and intestines/anus arms, not to mention the 3 leaky holes on his back. I love him for how disgusting and cute at the same time he is.
He's just such a mischievous little bastard. There's a photo somewhere out there of a bunch of the little buggers coming out from under the stairs - for me, it really captures the essence of who he/they is/are. That and... http://lordbemonisnotamused.blogspot.com/
Very nice. Thanks for the replies. He's slowly starting to to make sense to me. I've seen him on a few shelves now, playing with others, and I'll admit I can see where he's a good accent in a crowd. I'll still need to cradle one some day to be sure. By the way, FUT THE UCK???
I know (believe) Toy Tokyo had it for sale a long time ago. I'm pretty sure it sold, so I would think if someone paid for him he is still out there.
