Shit i hope your not talking about those mishka bootlegs? I've definitely been sleeping the last couple of years because these toy prices are fn insane.
Now don't get me wrong (to the mishka crew) (because I love their shit) (and ofcourse its not just their stuff )(also want to say a toy supplier can charge what he wants on a release for whatever reason ie production costs or just because the fn want to)..... but they were expensive when they came out! And now someone is asking 3 times the original price! Fn reality check people. There's ridiculous and then there's ( i just woke up with a sore head) and now everyone is fn delusional and fn there own brothers delusional. And i gotta say I know it's not just this fellah (the one that tripped my shit) (sorry brother) and I'm obviously not writing this just to flame him. I'm merely having a brain fart about the stupid fn prices being paid for for these toys. Yadda yadda market forces blah blah. I bought one of thse toys when it came out its a great toy even with the head always fallin off (I don't give a shit I still like it) and I know people usually just keep mum about the stupid pricing because "hey I got one too" and "we'll its the market" but this is skullbrain people everything should be sold for retail so anyway the last statement displays the futility of my rant but I (think) I feel a little better for it. And yes if it was my toys I'd probably be chuffed.
And before anyone gets there knickers in a knot I'd like to say I'm merely talking about aftermarket prices) and while I'm at it i know that bone one was probably exy what was its retail anyway? Poice! And all you gramma nerds chill please. Xxx

Ha, nah I'd make even less sense. Typing on these threads ain't my thing it's hard to keep up with the witty net banter and futurama references.
But thanks for at least trying to understand.

This is the new drinking / post thread.

    You drink
    Get drunk
... and then randomly post things (rants) in run-on sentences

Sweet a thread I can get behind ;) now I feel like I'm contributing
Bear head rants. Why leave it at drinking/ post, any feverish state will do. Even the urge to run on in a sentence...go on you know you want to.

What I want to know is who the hell paid $400+ for a PK Luftkaiser, which is MORE than the actual full-size Pollen Kaiser went for around the same time...

I agree with Germs on this. A while back sold my Morbius Bootleg for $85 here on the bst, after a few price drops because it didn't sell  . This was a good amount of time after they were released, so it wasn't like it was the brand new toy on the block.... Take a break from collecting about six months, BAM, these guys are fetching $200+. I guess people really needed bodies to put their Nagballs on, and the hype train got rolling.

I don't know TK, I think you got the better end of the deal. I think the person who gave you $85 for a lump of vinyl crap got the short end of the stick

The first 3 sold for 90 plus shipping, and were made by Ad funture, They were made in Chinese vinyl, as an alternative/joke "Bootleg" to Japanese vinyl.

An interesting side note is that they're the most expensive toy that Adfunture has produced. The Arkiv toys they made are close in size and retailed for 70. That said there the bootleg has 2 heads, and I'm sure the cost of tooling an extra mold wasn't cheap.
