Well the ebay seller states he is in Brooklyn, and that he has one of three. Should not be too hard to figure out who is selling it because from the looks of Kirkland's NYCC video, everyone kinda knew what the others got. Why not out the flipper, if he is one of us? Unless we are dealing with another hacked ebay account.

 

Seriously. Who ISN'T entering the lotteries at this point. Best case scenario, you win it and don't like it. Worst case, you are one of the people that actually like the figure and get one, all the while that $800 profit you could make gnaws at your soul.

 

Not that i favor one side or the other but who is more deserving of an "outting": the flipper or the few persons who drive the secondary market prices way out of reach or reason for most collectors ?

While I think the whole situation with these is ridiculous, you can't really call the person a flipper. If they had started it off at double retail or buy it now for $1000 then be my guest. But just because morons on here are willing to pay $1k+ doesn't make this person a flipper, makes them look smart if anything.

Well, I'm not sure. When it says 12:00, I'm not sure what time zone it's in, and I'm not sure what order they want the info. in.

 

He's in Japan. So it's Japanese Standard Time. I just entered the Nagx3 lotto for the first time, so I was a little unsure what info to include too. I just included the usual, name, address, phone and email. Lacking anything?

 

Dylan, I think you're ok. I have submitted to all of the lotteries and I have not won. The email doesn't become live until the lottery starts.

I always thought it was pretty straight forward. Time is set, dates are set, email is given when it's time, send in an email and wait. I neve even considered thinking it'd NOT be in Japanese standard time, but my brain is wired to think about what time it is in Japan all the time thanks to sales and lotteries of Japanese toys.

 

Kind of missed my point and stated the obvious.

 

I remember this dude from the Toy Punks DVD that was bragging about how once he spots a toy he really wants in an auction, he will outlast and outspend anybody, every time. Or something like that.

I think once you kick it into 1k+ level, every toy must come with hookers and blow.

There is that English wanker who talks about not paying his mortgage when its a choice between that or missing out on an ultra limited toy that's available at retail and maybe sold out if he waited And while that is clearly the rantings of a. a (should-be) committed toy lunatic or b. a sarcastic Brit - its radically different from having unlimited funds and/or the stupidity to "outspend anybody, every time" for a toy on teh secondary market - that makes me But on the other hand if he did spend teh mortagage money to get it at retail, then he probably doesnt have to buy on teh secondary market anyway and that makes me

 

If you start an auction at 1 cent and know that it will end at 5 times retail then you are a flipper. If you want the toy to go to a collector at a good price then you set a reasonable BIN or sell it on a board. Acting innocent when flipping doesn't make you more endearing it makes you a douche who assumes his/her fellow collectors are stupid. Not to mention what the hell are you doing selling a lottery piece? If you really aren't into it anymore then share the love. Of course the buyers are equally to blame but I don't think it takes away any responsibility from the seller.

 

Their fellow "collectors" are idiots if they're paying $1000.00 per Nag.
