Just wanted to show ya some blanks of some figs Im releasing. Theyre food based monsters but with a mexican influence. Its a sentient cacao pod and a concha which is a mexican sweet bread similar to a japanese melonpan. If you like what you see follow me on instagram at @sluggertoys

 

Those textures on the back of the concha are perfect. And coincidentally, about three minutes ago the missus just mentioned to me how awesome a concha and cochito would be to snack on right now.

 

Thanks! I tried not to overdo it on the cookie part. Right now its super chilly so a champurrado and a concha would kill right now so I can relate.

 

Love these! Dopey and fun. They remind me of Sunguts' works a bit, and the concha especially stands out for putting a novel spin on the Hitotsume-kozo. It seems like it will fit in well with other yokai dolls while quietly packing its own fresh cultural imagery.

 

New air brush came in and I did some work.

Yes! Paul is a pleasure to work with and the quality is nice, slightly squishier than japanese vinyl but very nice!

 

Yeah I grabbed one of Basement Puke's guys. The "give" in the vinyl actually feels a lot like vintage Bullmark minis.
