I feel you. I have the sciatica as well. every couple years it'll return. I once had a back spasm walking my dogs. All i did was step on a little rock weird.
Had to crawl home a mile or so...
The doctor gave me a shot of torridol and sent me home. spent 3 days crawling around my houseon my hands and knees.
shit's no joke.

There seem to be a lot of protests going on lately - all for valid issues for sure (environmental reasons, HK wanting to be it's own deal, US politics, etc) but I'm seeing more and more photos come up from these protests where everybody has a camera or a phone in their hands. Sure, I understand if you think there are secret undercover Chinese police that will pop up and disappear you and your friends you want to be recording things at all times. However at protests about climate change/politics shouldn't you be more concerned about getting the message out there rather than taking selfies or trying to get that photo that's gonna go viral on social media? Even during the madness in Hong Kong I'm seeing some cringe-worthy staged photos of protesters with Pepe the Frog fan art or embracing each other as if they are about to kiss like it's a movie or something. Fuck you if you're using social unrest as a chance to boost your likes on instagram.. I really hope that the 'influencer' style of creating content dies off sooner rather than later.

^^ Hell yeah, fuck inconsiderate and selfish neighbours. Noise pollution has been a sporadic problem where i live as well. Some people are cool, some people are wankers. Its just the way it goes.

 

My childhood neighbors across the alley from our backyard would shoot off mac 11’s, 9mm’s and shotguns during New Year’s and Cinco de Mayo.

 

I've got this neighbor who at around three in the morning shouts, what sounds like karate sounds, in some incoherent language.
It is the strangest thing to be waken up to. But his name is Dragon. So that's cool.

One of my neighbors used to be a Chinese couple, I'm pretty sure they used to handle the cooking overflow from their restaurant or take away. I'd regularly hear loud noises of food preparation (way louder than domestic, sounded like a busy hotel kitchen) but at least the cooking smells rising up to my place were pretty nice. They also used to have screaming matches, but it was all in Chinese so I never knew what they were arguing about.

 

No guitars, no drums, no guns, no Chinese arguments . . . just tractors bailing crops at night and cows mooing to be milked early in the morning!

Maybe the grim North ain't so grim after all!

Had to deal with it personally and have lost over 2 dozen friends and persons I greatly admired to various forms.

Fuck me for being so bold as to speculate that if all world leaders put their dicks away and focused resources on cures it could be done.

Thanks, John. My Tio passed five years ago from cancer, and my friend Austin passed this morning. Hasn’t quite set in just yet, but there’s a memorial show to celebrate his life this coming Thursday. I think that’s when it’ll really set in.

I don’t usually express things like this openly very often at all, especially on social media. But I had to get it out somewhere, so I guess I came here.

 

I have been in a suspended state of shock since Chris passed. Although have lost closer friends, it's haunted me that we spoke a day before he passed.

Don't ever feel it's the wrong time or place to get something off the brain/heart.

Being a man ain't acting tough, it's staying strong in the very face of each hell we all face.

Your a tribute to your friend in honoring him.

Waiting when the odds are against you, then having to deal when the odds finally decide whether more zapping is even worth it.

My best friend's current situation. I can't even fathom. All the sick shit we've laughed about in our lives, then this reality.

Sorry to hear that man, I’m still not over my sister passing away from this shit. So many regrets thinking about her dying from cancer.
