@noeleaser DUDE!!! This is phenomenal!!! I had no idea this existed! I’m honestly not a fan of Bold as a band(great lyrics, though), but their cover is awesome! This Is Hell and Sick of It All take it for me the most, though. Gonna give this more of a listen over the next few days. Thanks for bringin’ it here, dude!

    I’m glad that you’re pleased..
I’ve listened to this album at least twice a day, every day this week.
The Texas is the Reason cover is insane.. (“Back and to the Left”) I don’t know if you were ever a fan but they’re one of my favorite post hardcore bands of all time..

I just missed This Is Hell's anniversary show for Sundowning. I still love their 2005 s/t.

    Holy shit!
1 I never heard this compilation before.
2, that Texas is the Reason cover is REALLY FUCKING GOOD. I had the pleasure of seeing them for the REV25 tour with one of the last times On the Might of Princes would play.
3, I also love This Is Hell's cover of The Movielife.
    Thank you for sharing!

    Wow thanks guys!
I was crazy nervous... but I’m grateful to have had that opportunity! By the by, we just released a new single on Daptone, if anyone’s curious!

Bringing up Helms Alee again. Just saw them open for Earth last night. Tour just kicked off, so if you have a chance to catch 'em I highly recommend doing so. Their drummer is incredible.

Just heard that Kikagaku Moyo is coming back around Thanksgiving, so trying to make plans to see them with everyone I spend TG with!

Went to the show in Somerville last week. While it was cool seeing Earth, Helms Alee was definitely the highlight.

Awesome! Yeah, for sure. I've seen both before, and went in only really caring about seeing Helms Alee. Once you see Earth play one song you've kinda seen them play the whole set...

While I loved seeing them play, the most entertaining bit by far was Carson announcing he'll buy a beer for the person who stabs the next guy taking photos with a flash.

You are so lucky that you got to see Texas Is The Reason.. I have been going to shows since 1987 and that’s definitely one of the bands I regret not ever seeing. Doesn’t look like I’ll never get the chance to again either.

When you just need to buckle down and work on shit. Black metal of an epic scale will do.

My favourite of the year so far. I haven’t come across much competition though to be fair... asides from the latest Xiu Xiu.

Abbath's new album annihilates his debut solo album. Way heavier and groovier.
