I saw a blank black zag

 

It's splitting hairs, but someone else said navy blue.

 

Alright, opened my box so far... the bag is the same color as last year’s, or maybe the year before? Not sure but I have a bag of the same color in the corner of my room.

EDIT: the bag smells of black peppercorn when opened. That’s... uhh... unexpected

Here’s what I got.

Zag is most definitely a navy blue. Oddly enough no micros included with my bag...

Haha, I heard very dark green. Maybe there are a couple. Hopefully it matches one of the Zag micros, would be sweet to have them side by side.

Could it be that the Vendor pilots are your micros? I remember the Instagram livestream had empty bots but two similar micros bagged

 

I’m assuming so.. I kept looking in to see if they’d magically appear under the bottom of the bag flaps haha. Oh well..

Good point, I was thinking that at first too, but it seems other bags had separate micros along with the one pilot included with bots. I was watching Patrick’s live stream too!

I’m not too overly concerned about it though.

 

It seems the average bag has three micros, two of which are badged and one in a bot.

Definitely! At this point last year we had some idea of every bag 'type'; the current haul packs some more surprises, and I'm very excited for it. Most listings said there was a possibility for 'hand-painted figures' too, which I'm curious about. I know all of these are really hand-painted, but does that mean one-offs could be making a return?

Where the fuck is all the color though with painted figures this year? The only variety in that department i'v seen is the elephant monster. All the rest are done in that drab black color scheme. You think we would be seeing more than black this year. Im pretty sure last year was black and grey to. Still nice scores for everone so sorry to sound negative!

I think they look nice but at the same time I kind of agree with you.
My bag last year had TO Garudan, and at least 3 of the 5 painteds I have seen so far are in TO (Mecha zag, mecha mibora, hedora).
The regular Zag may or may not be TO, and the Bakobas is not TO.
Paint wise, the bakobas is my favorite so far honestly.

Also, as far as vendor marketing... all stores this year had the similar description:

I think they had a similar description last year, but we didn't see any one-offs for many years.
I look forward to seeing if they actually start doing that again.

 

Yeah, could just be boilerplate. Let's see. Agree that this year may be TO overload when you see a bunch of bags together, but I'm glad the likelihood is still one beautiful Thrashout per bag.
