i actually saw that interview a couple months ago, it's shown in dumb: the story of big brother magazine. interviewer was a complete asshole, as planned. the height thing is what seemed to really tick dio off. i felt a bit pissed that he was treating dio that way. dio was there trying to be nice and shit.
Yeah, i know what you mean - the interviewer was a dick. Mind you, some of the more famous metal singers take themselves way too seriously (i'm looking at you, Gillan) so it was funny to read a non-kiss-arse interview for a change . . .
Black Breath is some of the wildest stuff still. Just revisited this album and fell back in love with it.

two newest tracks from Skeletal Remains. I’m usually not a big death metal guy (especially the more current stuff), but these guys have brought the new old school death to my attention.
have these dudes been brought up? oxygen destroyer musically great, worth a listen! especially for this board
One of the members and I are friends on Facebook and they are really cool guys. Huge fans of anything kaiju related. Also, I know there's always been a huge divide on opinions when it comes to Dimmu Borgir but they've been a huge influence on me for years. Their new album I finally picked up yesterday while at a local taco/lucha festival and so far it blows Abrahadabra out of the water. "Council of Wolves and Snakes" is their heavily advertised single from the album, Eonian. It's a great track, but man totally take a listen to the rest. It got me bangin on the way to Dunks this morning.
I'll have to give this a listen. I forgot all about these guys since the mid 2000's but loved those albums I was a late bloomer on these guys too but looking forward to the new record
Oh, man. I love Opeth. Blackwater Park was my introduction to them, but Morningrise is my absolute favorite album. “The Night and Silent Water” is such a great, epic, lengthy track.
Made me smile when I noticed the lyrics on your IG posts! The Night and Silent Water is a favourite; there's some really nice subtle drum work on that track. I'm biased being a drummer of course.
Didn't know where else to put this, but... New Daughters single just dropped!! https://daughters.bandcamp.com/
So did anyone here snag any pre-sale tickets for the Behemoth, Wolves In The Throne Room and At The Gates shows? The presale page wasn't cooperating with me this morning and I'm not sure if I missed out or not. I have yet to see any of those bands perform live except for a portion of Behemoth at Ozzfest back in like 2007 i think... EDIT: Nevermind!!!!! It was just the damn mobile version that was giving me such a hard time. Just logged in on my laptop and it worked flawlessly. Scored two tickets to the Boston show. CAN NOT WAIT!!!! If anyone's going to that show hit me up! We can chat about toys and shit while worshipping satan and stuff or whatever the hell it is you metal kids do now a days
From an old Football magazine of my Dad's. Does anyone else think this guy has a striking resemblance to Dave Mustaine?
