Don't be shy! Who here nabbed one of these amazing, new CK Beta??? This little thicky, to me, is reminiscent of Tetsujin x Astro Boy. I loved the sample Joe brought to DCon. The blue was sooooooo nice.

 

I got a blank green one & blue diggler ... Very happy with both of them .. Pictures when they arrive ! Thanks Joe !

 

Grabbed a green blank and supper stoked about it. I hope we see That blue color to but also wouldn’t mind seeing some wild bright battle damaged versions as well

I'm waiting for brighter colors rather than tattered and weathered looks before I purchase any.

I got my pair in yesterday, and I'd already forgot how chunky and awesome it is since seeing the test at DCon. Couldn't be more stoked on the first blank and painted versions! Hope to see T28 and Astro Boy tributes! I even made mention on good ol' IG, but the header art feels very Tezuka to me!

Also, taken from Joe's Instagram, was a test pull preview of the Cyclo Kid. From the caption, sounds like the club isn't playing very nicely with being pulled from the molds. I'm sure Joe and Cory will find a solution soon. I love this new head, and the club wielding hand. I think it'll be a great adversary to the CK Beta, in an ancient VS future - esque battle!


No idea what these are for, as Joe's post is very vague, but I'm lovin' the Secret of the Sword vibe of that Trap Jaw lookin' dude.

 

clunky and surprisingly heavy for its size, I imagine the junker bot is filled with decaying radioisotopes...

 

@super77m What a fantastic one off. When Joe announced there’d be one offs going up, I toiled for a while about whether I’d go for one, or or take two in the blank and painted run. Ultimately, I wanted to start out with a pair, as I’m a sucker for symmetry. Plus, I’m sure I’ll have another shot down the road.

I’m beyond lookin’ forward to Joe’s painted CK Beta release. He previewed a blue vinyl version at DCon, and it’s amazing.

 

By request these guys will just be sold blank. Probably be eyeing a next painted release at 5 points.

 

I picked up this CK Beta 1-off at MPH... Will be taking it home in April !

 

@JoeMan Hot damn! I must’ve not paid enough attention! Blanks will be great! It’ll look awesome next to the cosmic Krono.

 

I had to sit this one out, due to finances, but I hope some members here got a hold of one. This blue is fantastic.

Happy to report after a grueling year and half of production issues, things are finally back on track. I've basically mitigated all new projects to the only place in Japan I can get stuff through molding and have always proven 100% reliable, Obitsu. They now have the CK Beta, Cyco-Kid, Bam Bam, are working on finishing up the Uncle Steve 2.0, and the arch usir wax has been finished and will be given to them next week.
