Yeah the unusual proportions really work well. I think there’s still some of the painted Dcon version on the Gums website.

The Takoji is a Koji one off from 2009. Managed to score this off the SB sales threads.

I've only seen one other, who did the Campbell's Soup Kid Astronaut in the blue space suit? That is just great!

 

It's 2006-2007 all over again! Can't believe it took me over 10 years to gather this trio but I did it cheaply on YJA for pretty much original cost. Now if I can only find a glow Yamashiro. Red Heater - grail for 6000 yen on YJA what? Fuck hyped toys. This shit is way better....

One of my toy regrets is selling a painted glow Yamashiro. Dang those colors were nice too... If I can find a picture, I'll post it.

 

I'm in the same boat I sold the orange glow a long time ago and miss it. I really want the green glow version these days but would take either. This Blobpus version though was a really long want for me and I missed it so many times back in the day, so it was really fulfilling finally seeing it on YJA and winning. It was so bizarre all 3 of those auctions I won uncontested! That never happens. Guess no one likes older modern kaiju which is fine by me.

Ha ha yes some way back toys there! I have all three just a diff colour kaiju ken guy.. sweet pick ups man!

 

I only intended to buy the Yamashiro (Kaijuken) but when I saw the Hedorah and Heater just sitting there with no bids and they kept getting relisted I was like "Yeah it would be a crime not to pick those up because you never see them for sale and I needed them!" Glad I did because in 10 years I've never seen a Red Heater come up for sale on YJA (I'm sure a few have but I never saw them).

It's not vinyl, but it's way bigger than I expected and pretty awesome. And you can't beat that price!
