The exact pair that I was hoping would be made! Wow! If they are pretty pricey (which I'm sure they will be and probably hard to score unless you use a middleman) it would be hard to choose btw the two. I want them both lol.
Someone posted on IG they will ¥30,000. I didn't see the post myself so take that with a grain of salt if you will but these are huge. Now I'm just gonna hope they won't be impossible to get.
That’s really not that bad at all, but who knows what it will end up at with shipping and middle man fees. Here’s hoping everyone that wants one can get one. I will be trying for one for sure!
Amazing. I agree with Lixx, it's a hard choice between Tokyo or Hawaiian sprays. It is a seriously wonderful chunk of vinyl. Going the classic route for the first few painted releases is perfect. Think about one of these pulled from industrial glow vinyl....you'd have a hard time falling asleep at night.
I'm already having a HARD time just from looking at that towering Tokyo... Quick, somebody with Yuji's ear ask him to save a few for G-Fest '18!!!
This seems like a weird question for me to ask after all these years but what does DX actually mean in toy terms? Giant size?
Usually, "deluxe". I think this is a holdover from olden days when the highest trim of toy release would be given the DX title.
Ahhh ok makes sense. I always thought it had something to do with these Giant size toys because I've only ever seen it referenced with things like M1's Giant T-28. I guess bigger falls into deluxe for sure lol.
Anyone have any knowledge of the Hedorah tricycle which featured on the 2018 New Year postcard from M1? I really hope they make this! Or maybe it was just a promo for their postcard?
Hedorah DX test shot on flesh vinyl: Fifteen (15) of these were sold at the recent Super Festival 76 for ¥31,320 each, and I saw one being flipped for almost double already. I'm still waiting to see what the painted versions will be priced out, but the price for the blank might give us some idea...
Beautiful sculpt and looks great unpainted. Love the unintentional face on the side. I also love the espresso bean imbedded above the left shoulder

Yuji donated an unpainted pink DX Hedorah to the 'G-Fans Helping G-Fans' auction at G-FEST. Those pictures don't do it justice; it is an absolute thing of beauty.
