@ultrakaiju The Baltans are the same size than the Ragon and the Semi Ningen on this picture. Kemur is the same size to (around 5 inch). The Garamon what you're talking about (and which I have been looking for some colors for a long time, this is a call for help) is a middle size like the others shampoo bottle style.
Thanks Archam. Yep, those are the diorama/set guys I was referring to. I am not certain but I think that is all of them, i.e. the trio of Kemur, Semi-Ningen, and Ragon. They also have the whole 'narrow' profile which also led me to think the Baltans belong to this series. We need some hero figures now to fight alongside them! I'll keep my eyes open for any Garys for ya, man.
I'll also keep my eyes about, please inform me on sighting anything from this new batch. Thanks Steve, are you still on the West coast? Thanks to Andy! For consistently providing coverage of the U.S. Toys booth.
Outnumbered... U.S. Toys minis are so easy and fun to display. I always have them out somewhere in the house. I would love to pick up that new set of gojis from SuperFestival.
Ha, that is a great scene setup, Mark. First thing that sprung to my mind looking at that 'confrontation' was that US Toys needs to make a transforming MG, who could then pull of his camouflage, revealing his mechanised innards, which coming to his robotic brother's defence.
I need that light blue set in my life with the Jamira. I can't seem to find a US toys website on google. Do they do a lottery or is it up to second hand pick-ups?
USTOYS does not communicate, he has no site, neither Instagram nor anything, just an email. There is just a site created by a Japanese fan that lists some releases between 2007 and 2014 but it is far from complete: http://ustoys.reyspress.net/ There are a lot of colors for each model and for a long time it has not come out new sculpts. That's why the release of new pieces is an event for fans like me. I pray to see him coming out of other releases in middle size (and why not giant, let's be crazy). To find it you have to go through Mandarake who sells some from time to time, YJA or ebay.
Yes man, this is the right place to share about U.S.TOYS, welcome on board, do not hesitate to introduce you to the other members here : http://skullbrain.org/bb/index.php?threads/introductions.43899/ and to share your collection !
My US Toys story. I got a Gyeron in the SF Super7 store in the mark down bins once. I think it was like $7. Talk about a lucky day
Super Festival 75 releases for September 24, 2017.
Thanks @chimply.kaiju ! This Jamira is so cute and there is not enough interpretation of this guy. The giant Eleking is GID, 30cm of lightness, you will never sleep in the dark again.
I would love to have that giant Eleking, but not at that price. Pretty hefty price for only a 30 cm size.
I would have been happy to pay it at this price even though it is expensive but I know that will not be the case. In fact it is 35 cm (I just checked on mine) and it has about 13 points of articulation (3 on the tail), it is more massive than its size lets think. But it is true that it remains expensive.
@Sanjeev - I believe it would translate as "First Goji", and it's what U.S. Toys labels the character with on their stickers. I usually see 初代ゴジ (ShodaiGoji) or "First Generation Goji" used for describing the original '54 Godzilla. I'm not an expert though, and I would be interested in receiving any corrections.
Ah, interesting--never heard that name before. I've only ever heard the first film's suit referred to as "Shodai Goji"...and given the sculpt, I figured that's what you meant (that or Gyakushu Goji).
Look at all those lovely US Toys waiting to be bought. Picture by Yuji Nishimura (M1GO) at the opening of the DNA exhibit held in Saga Japan today.
