There are some seriously talented board members on this site - I take it more than a few of you are professional colorists... or should be!
I just have some basic photoshop skills under my belt from making flyers for shows whenever I played in a band or dj'ed at the club... def not the professional digital artist by any means... wish I knew so much more.... FAR OUT PLASTIC HUNTER.....!!!...!!!...!!!
To add to the TiredChildren cavelcade: I love the classic Garamon colorstylin', but have always been a Pigmon man myself. Crayons rule, but time is tight --- As I'm typing here on a ten year old hand-me-down laptop, with zero graphics software, and have no scanner to speak of right now, TiredChildren was kind enough to whip me up a digital variation of what I wish I had time to snailmail to the NYC mule army. Thanks, TC!
Well since brobles showed us his Joker, I guess I should share my Batman! Figured it's a NYCC exclusive so it should be a super hero design. Thought about doing a Joker too but decided to stick with the Dark Knight. Can't wait to see Luke's interpretation of these
Okay, think I'm done now. I'm using 2 of these, then the rest were just for fun or helping people flesh out their ideas. The ones that are available if anyone wants them are these: Garamon (top row, 2nd one in from left) Sunburst (top row, far right) Skulletor (middle row, far right) Succotash (bottom row, middle) Tiger 7 (bottom row, right) PM me if you want one of those and I can send you a full-size version. Don't have any more time to make new designs though.
i have to say, james, you've been pretty prolific with these... =p i really like the lash zag tribute one, i think you should definitely get that one done. great job, can't wait to see how luke pulls it off!
Thanks Chris! Yeah, that Zag one is definitely my favorite. One of these days I'd love to get my hands on the original Zag or on a blank Zag that I can send to LASH to get done up like that. So rad!
oh' fuck yessss.....!!! it even comes with a little bonus omake smiley face....!!! SOOOO AWESOME.....!!! love it...!!!
You know that Grody Shogun has become big, when they use it as a description tag Zollmen Monster Parade on e-bay instead of NagxNagxNagx.
jeff... YES! the fact that your daughter digs the "evil villan" pointy-beard and moustache combo speaks volumes. no wonder you get followed around by security at the children's museum. =p
Awesome indeed! I can't wait to see Lukes take on it. Save the drawing so you can show it to your daughter when she gets older!!
And here is the second, and last, entry Inspired by Skinner's Ollie for NYCC the bright red should be orange, idk whats up with my scanner
