I wasn't able to get in on the lottery order for the red Goji, which is a bit of a sore point for me. The current situation though is making toy spending tough these days. I look forward to seeing some winners here though, I hope someone got lucky. Please do report on this fella if that is the case. Another interesting release, hitting me nicely actually, even though I was never a massive Heisei indulgent.
I applied, we will see. I think I remember them saying they’d let people know by the 20th of May. I feel your sentiment about the current situation for buying toys. I had to take a swing at this one though.
Yeah, was going to wait to post that one, as the lottery has not even gone live yet. But I agree, this one is fun, and a delight. All the classic Goji I could ask for, with none of the pretense. Alas, if only this was not after the AA model, but could be had by anyone who wanted one; it would not take away from my enjoyment of him one iota.
I agree this AA Is real cool, love that AA is doing these Gojiras... UOTE="Kerk1, post: 990918, member: 15571"] This one is a beauty![/QUOTE]
Any folks luck out with this round? This is my first Medicom lotto so not 100% how they do things since I haven't gotten a winning email (fingers *still* crossed) or a refund yet.
Me too! Sweet. I didn’t catch any details, but does anyone know if will be cast in that blue color? Edit: from what I’ve seen, looks so.
Looks like Medicom is at it again with another Hedo Goji. Spoiler: Before anyone asks Since it seemed to raise questions on the previous release, Not sure it quite works as well as the other versions, and the flying-but-not-quite-flying is a miss I think. Admittedly, this is a hard aspect to translate to a three dimensional toy, especially for standing issues, but we've seen it tackled - successfully - in the past. It's still cool, but I'd have loved so much to be able to get in on one of the earlier lotteries.
Love the paint app but nothing about the pose screamings "flying" to me, it's more of a "check out my junk" vibe
Yeah, you guys are not wrong of course. BUT. I will just say that you have to envisage it with the legs moved/bent upwards, versus in this odd standing pose. Like the one with the face-scratching finger, I think it is quite on-the-nose, while being a bit of tongue-in-cheek whimsy for the fans who recognise it, and who aren't just looking to buy fancy, expensive toys.
Looking at the product shot there, seems that the tail is sculpted so that Goji can “stand” with his limbs up. Wonder why they didn’t use a picture to show that off? Or maybe they went with this one because it looks funny
