We're nearly there! The panda becomes a cat toy for Emma and Hubbee if we don't reach that goal! Please help if you can
Honestly, this has been an incredible year as always for the fundraiser, but I really just want to see us top that 10k mark because. Come on SB, if you have not donated yet, or maybe found a bit more spare change, no sense waiting - every little helps. Let's push it over the top.
Just got my donation in - lets go SB! FYI: I was having trouble entering my card info on Chrome - had to use Safari, in case anyone else is experiencing the same.
Just remember, once we hit 10K, then a chance to win the OG! Anraku Panda could be yours! Hubba Hubba! AND you are supporting a worthy and life saving cause!
WAHOOOOOEY!!!!! Pandabab will be adopted by a new Mummee or Daddee soon! Thanks SBers, you're the best! And for those who want a chance to be a proud parent, remember that each $5 donation gets you a chance to win him. It's not too late to donate ☺️
Incredible! Well done to SB for unlocking this Panda-grail. My sincere thanks to everyone who has donated thus far. But let's not forget this is all for a super amazing and important cause, and there is not need to stop now. Let's see if we can keep this donations coming in and bump this community support ever further.
This community absolutely SLAYED this fundraiser. I'm completely floored, and I can barely wrap my head around it.

Great thing you're doing here. Donated in memory of people who've stepped onto the tracks in Gallup, NM, mostly Navajo folks. Thanx so much for this effort. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ western end of town, gallup, nm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're looking to email me, you can use tiredchildren at gmail.com. Thank you so much, and I am so very sorry to hear of your losses–I love that you're able to honor them!
You're welcome. Thank you. Figured out the email thing; they're asking for an email for a notice of rememberance. Thanx so much for what you're doing here; so vital now in this increasingly difficult, dire time. This article from last week in the UK Guardian gives good insight on deeper causes of difficulties that seem individual-based but more-often are primarily catalyzed by external forces way beyond the control of most individuals, except perhaps the majority of the 1% that control the world's financial wealth. https://www.theguardian.com/comment...astating-lies-mental-health-problems-politics This article from last month has a positive ending (except for the use of handcuffs), and her reasons for being there echo what's said in the Guardian piece. The pressures on the peoples of the Navajo nation are enormous and their scope, difficult to comprehend for non-native people. Gallup was one of the places on the planet hardest-hit by covid deaths, and Navajo endemic poverty and alcoholism there is tragically wide-spread. Suicide and death-by-misfortune, eg due to exposure falling asleep drunk outdoors in the cold, are shockingly prevelent in Gallup. https://www.koat.com/article/new-me...oman-from-jumping-off-bridge-gallup/40943937# Those are the same tracks as in the photo a few posts up, that sign a short distance from that^ bridge. If ever the chance to visit Gallup and the Navajo Nation, please support native-owned businesses. Thanx again for all that you're doing here.
Ohhhhhh noooooo! All I can hear are crickets Let's bring back the Skullbrain muscle and donate for this important cause ❤️. Remembering a precious soul, Martin Harris, who left us last year. Just made a toy pledge to celebrate his presence while he was with us, and here's to hoping we can help those who need help. As my Toy Angel would say, "Toy people are GOOD people". Please search your closets, bins, shelves, and paint benches (wallets and purses too! ) and let's go SBers!
This seemed like as good a place to share this as any, but I keep my prizes from the yearly raffles together on my dresser. That way I see them everyday and think about the amazing work James does working on this fundraiser every year and all of you wonderful community members who donate toys. Thank you all for the work you do to help people!
