just found an old lost album of my youth; "This is Howlin' Wolf's New Album..." on Cadet Concept (Chess spinoff). If you like Black Keys only 45 years earlier...Note; if you like traditional Howlin' Wolf, maybe not. Playing it loud right now. Dog hates it.

^ Caught them on that tour... like 6 people there...

I'm guessing that this happened in front of a rather more full house:

    FULL SET, Ukranian jammies inclusive,

I still have epic amounts of love for BIZZARO, but SEAMONSTERS might be the masterpiece. Kills me every time.

Man that's crazy. I've never had a chance to see them live but maybe one day.

Yeah Seamonsters is another phenomenal album. I think it's that Bizzaro was my intro to the band that's why it edges it for me.

    Great band.

Sometimes I get a hankering for some Tom Petty, I have no idea where that comes from, I was never a big Tom Petty fan other than in passing on the radio when I was under 10 years old.

I don't even own any Tom Petty records, I just watched a good hour plus of his videos last night, it's strange!

@FUREEK - I will take any excuse at all to post these:

Raymond Scott 's Soothing Sounds For Baby series.

Note to self: post these in @SPACED's Electronic music thread, too.

I've been reminiscing about my old school Hardcore/Punk Rock days recently and I've been listening to all of the old albums that helped shape me into who I am today...

    Yesterday I listened to these..

    Descendents: Liveage
BTW, "Hope" is one of the best Punk Rock love songs ever written, after Jawbreaker's "Chesterfield King" obviously..

    Gorilla Biscuits: Start Today

    Bad Religion: Suffer
arguably, one of the BEST Punk Rock albums ever made..

    Bad Religion: No Control
Tears came to my eyes when listening to some of these lyrics. So fucking true...

I was listening to the womb sounds as I came across this thread so I thought I'd indulge you all with it as well.
My wife and I play that for our 6 month old baby some nights..well almost every night as it helps sooth her to sleep.
Raymond Scott's stuff sounds a bit trippy but I'm gonna try it on her haha.
