I had a pretty good mail week last week

 

got these 3 guys in the mail today. no markings, obviously ultraman inspired, about 2.25 inches tall. anyone ever seen these before?

 

can you post a pic (or pics) of all of these please? they look awesome!

Any idea what the story is behind the little space boy? Is it a Japanese product mascot? my google search just brought up references to astro boy

These mascot banks (approx 10cm tall) are issued by a Japanese bank (not sure which one). This version was issued in 1969 for the Apollo Moon mission.

Wow I had no idea he was that old! I have only been able to ID him and the bear who is made by Hokkaido Takushoku Bank. Fuji Bank apparently made 15 other versions of this guys (Hawaiian,Greek,Arabian,etc) which I am now on the hunt for!
