I've been on a mammoth kick lately.

First up, this glorious beast! It's a vinyl savings bank from the now-defunct Cosmo Credit Union. There's no maker's mark on it but it is said to be manufactured by Bandai. A priceless artifact from Japan's "bubble burst" of the 1990s:

Next, this guy from Pekin Genjin, a 90s "cavemen in modern times" film. Bandai made this figure and it was sold as a theater exclusive. The little cavemen plug into the buy guy's back:

I know there's a Y-MSF mammoth out there, does someone here have it? If so, please post pics!

Neat! Is it a licensed character from a show or something?

Got him at a trade/meet-up during a Toy Karma. Marked 1/1. Would love to know who painted it as it is stellar:

Not vinyl, but, hey...Marx/MPC mammoths from 60s, keshi and a recent 3d puzzle.

Yet another sighting of the incredibly rare Marushin mammoth in @Mark K 's collection. Thank you, sir. Enjoying all the other ones as well.

Love that design! Does he glow?

Not vinyl, but I also discovered a Pekin Genjin plush set:

Hey, I painted that version of Manmorah. I don't remember which show it was for, but it was early on as it's on the first colour of vinyl we got for it. Glad you like it. :)

Pretty sure this is a Y-MSF mammoth but could not find pix of this vintage-like paint job. It is unmarked.

That's it! Funny you should bump this thread today, Mark, I was hunting one of those yesterday. I even messaged them on Facebook to ask if they had any brown ones left, they just have unpainted gray and a painted "bronze" one that I don't like. They also did a green one that glows, I think. I'll find one eventually.

Let us all take a moment to praise the vigilant paleosofubologist @Mark K who spotted the Y-MSF mammoth I was looking for:

It was part of this YJA lot which I got for 2,900 yen. I am pretty sure this is the Y-MSF figure they were selling for 5,000, but there is no maker's mark and it has a gold stripe down that back, just like the one Mark posted. Either way, I love it. He's getting scrubbed up in the sink right after I post this, as you can see he's pretty filthy.
