Oh absolutely, but when a 'custom' is that inept, I think it kinda fits this thread. The ruination of innocent toys is a crime. A fugly-arsed crime, i tells ya!

You have a point, which could be true, but they are marketed seriously without any irony or humour. The makers appear to believe they are making cool and desirable toys. Certainly the prices of these fugly toys are on the same level as regular sofubi. Often higher!

It makes sense: People got tired with all the ultra-detailed stuff with five heads and six weapons and little skulls everywhere, and now lazy sculpts are the new cool. Post-ironic neo-sofubi. Although they look like they've been sculpted directly from blocks of soft vinyl using a soldering iron, that's presumably not the case, so I guess there's no reason they'd be any cheaper...

the idea of a snake monster inhabiting a namakubi styled head seems very interesting but im not the biggest fan. although i will say, i saw the middle zombies head on the bottom nag things body and i didnt hate it :/

 

^ Absolutely, each to their own. For me, the snake thing looks like somebody trying way too hard, its almost so fascinatingly awful you can't take your eyes off the fugliness. The other two - all i see are badly painted Izumonster/Nag bootlegs.
