I know it's come up a few times now, but it always surprises me to remember that Desu Ultimatum thing is Marmit-sanctioned. I can see it in the level of detail I guess, which is pretty tasteful.

But the overall concept is a busy, overworked, steaming turd. Jesus goddamn Christ, see an eye doctor and stop buying them!

 

Yeah some with bubbles snuck out. Black is hard to spot, and most likely were sold with the blank black PK Kracken head. I noticed them once they were all out. So I’m assuming this would be from that. After that drop the factory really now takes a keen eye open for bubbles esp in black vinyl.
This could also be a boot. Turns out the bootleg vinyl is super rigid and brittle, prone to breaks with the neck joint. So keep an eye open for that also.

All the more reasons why I almost never sell total blanks anymore. Easy to boot, easy to ruin with ......customs.

Do these customizers even have eyes ? In what world do you look at that and say to yourself, yeah this looks goooood.

 

My assumption is by the time they realize that it looks like shit theyre in too deep and go with it.

That shitty metallic Zug looks like they tried to replicate the Blobpus Dokuro DX on a larger scale, eyes and all. Bless their heart, I suppose.

What did they paint this with, boat paint ? They managed to smooth out a heavily textured toy, added crappy additions to the eye sockets AND create one of the worst paint jobs ever made. Trifecta.

Looks like it was inspired by a fish. Even looks like fish taxidermy eyes. Buy yeah, not good.

 

I actually like that paint, at least it’s clear the painter had a an idea for the dark tone of the figure and achieved it. But this is the world we live in take it from some who probably gets their blanks customized more than any other artist out there. It’s never going to stop and they don’t care how rare the blank is.

 

If it was a black bone Usir, I’ll track him down and beat him with a tube sock filled with quarters.
