I’m very sure that even if Michael did that, it would still be cool, and not look like everyone else’s crap.
Just because someone is an established artist does not mean that they matter, or are contributing, to art itself. They’re just making money.

 

We all have our own idea of what art should be, of course. Yet art and product will always differ because of the intent behind their creation.

I actually really like this toy! I really love all the detials in it

 

the matango toy reminds me of the kids in class that would doodle for hours from the corner of the page and covering the whole page in their binder. tons of meticulous work and then youd look from afar and alas... it is nothing but mindless doodling. no real purpose for any of that "detail".
