I sunk the skull down into the shoulders more to make it a little more hidden and more solid. Also formed an eerie expressionless face onto the outer surface of the ooze cap. Makes the overall appearance of the figure 3x creepier, at least to me.

if its going to go onto resin, you could just make two molds and cast head and body separately.

Wilkowski makes it look easy, but embedding cured resin can be a total nightmare, especially if you dont have access to a vacuum to get the bubbles out of the mixture before casting it.

Planning on vinyl or the ooze guy. But nothing totally set in stone so something might change down the road.

Worked on a label for my N.A.T.I.V.E.S. cannibal keshi release today. The test pulls came out looking AWESOME. Can't wait to show you guys :) A big thank you to Jesse over at Doomkick for making this a reality.

Spent the entire day yesterday casting up these little beauties. They're a character I created called Kanashî, a wrestler with a very sad face. I'll be including one with each subsequent future purchase once I get those vinyl toys back from the manufacturers.

Also those little green guys, those are a few of my N.A.T.I.V.E.S. keshi... those will be getting released next month i reckon.

Curious, what exactly is keshi made of? I know it's rubber, but is there a place to buy that rubber under a more technical name?

I used a flexible urethane rubber from Alumilite called Flex 80. They have a nice consistency and feel to them when molded. Very eraser-like when finished.

I'm apparently just hijacking this entire thread. Thread pirate. Arrr.

Working on a sculpt for a new 3.75" action figure line called the Wormhole Warriors I conceptualized a few years ago, but as a keshi figure. Figured I'd blow it up and make it into a true posable character.

I brush painted a Cambrigon with acrylics. Didn't achieve what I wanted but I guess not too bad for a first effort?

Ok so this is some concept art for a toy im working on named "Lord Tegu" He's going to be cast out of resin, and have one point of articulation at the waist. This is my first toy so I didn't want to make it too complicated any ways I would love some feedback on him. 15027367_1338593696160019_788263794439668461_n.jpg

I like him! The spikes on the top of the head might be a bit difficult to cast, but if you have a pressure pot you might be able to escape the dreaded bubbles.
Will he have a tail? I almost can imagine him having a tail stump, being a sort of lizard-man and all... maybe wrapped up with the same cloth strips as his limbs.

Way to flip the script menshen, gracias!

Last one looks like a vintage iron on
mixed up with a shriky dink.

I wish they still made those.

    Or do they?

Toys have kinda (regrettably) been thrown onto the back burner as of late....ran into WAY too many speedbumps and funds are a little too tight right now. Starting a new route delivery gig on Monday which will actually be able to pay bills etc.. In the meantime I recently built my own viking round shield from scratch roughly following the directions laid out on the Jomsborg vikings site. The pattern is a loose interpretation of one of the designs from the Serpent Witch stone from Gotland. Hope you guys dig and that all is well!

Just got the motivation to sit down and draw up my Wormhole Warriors character Asphaerius in Bikkuriman style.

GEM and I started roughing out a clay prototype for Asphaerius, pictured above. He currently stands about 3" tall. Wanted to maintain the 80s/90s chibi anime, bikkuriman vibe.

I think the mutant arm is a little much, but then again I'm a stickler for simple yet effective design. He is looking a bit more like a scary "Lord," but be careful about going too "generic villain" I guess.
