Maybe this thread can be a general ISH show off/release/news thing? I'll start by adding Craig Gleason's Ghoul, hand painted by the man himself, for himself! Produced by Lulubell! :D

Just got mine today, and it's a killer hunk of vinyl. However, has anyone else had issues with the right arm joint being super loose? I can take the arm on and off easily without a hair dryer :?

@612DudeCrew The assembly can get tricky on some toys. You gotta make sure the edges of the arm hole sink into the crevice of the arm's joint, and don't simply slide on top of. This is the best physical representation I can give in a visual. The left is what often happens when you just push the arm into the socket. The right is where the female port should comfortably sit in the crevice of the male joint. My apologies for the shitty phone photos. I didn't have my camera! Hope this helps!

Yeah...err.. if you are just sticking it in just inserting it just placing the vinyl arm inside of the body piece {whew!}, you are ...umn...doing it wrong.

I don't have one of these Gallies, and am not sure how you assembled your 'kit,' but with all soft vinyl toys made with this flange system there is a definite connection system to the joints, which purposefully prevents parts from popping out. Some are larger/tighter than others (ugh, I swear I am not doing this on purpose, I put all the blame on Robert ), depending on construction or any remaining flashing. But, if you are just talking about joint looseness, that is a different story, and one which can't always be corrected - though there are some methods (check out the vintage section here). These are handmade toys after all, cut by humans, and there is bound to always be some variation between figures.

Very nice man. I like how it has that milky look to the glow, you can tell this is some high quality vinyl. And he is such a beast too. This was a tough pre-order to miss out on.

I wouldn't worry so many people preordered this that I'm sure they will be showing up for years to come

Yeah, that's what I am expecting too. If there's anything years into this hobby will teach you, it's patience. I am hopeful that, once the initial furor and immediate flipping dies down, I might stumble across one of these at close to retail. Similar things happened with the Medicom releases (AA is a good example). And if not, I am sure a painted version will come in the future, hopefully when I have some funds on hand.

This did the trick!! Had to get into the body and bend the joint into place, but after a few minutes it worked and no longer comes out. Thanks Robert!

His right head gave me the most trouble. Thing just did not want to go in, I was certain I was going to melt either him or my hand with the hairdryer by the end of it.

Thank you, @toothaction! Actually, there were two versions available at Five Points! One with a helmet, and one without! I opted for without due to fund restrictions, but it looks SO amazing on the Galligantus.

This bad mamma jamma is going to be at my toy show in Atlanta next month, Kaiju Cult!

I'd call it a sneak preview, but it's gonna come with some pretty baller accessories even I am yet to see....

^This one/this shot shows all of the texture very nicely. Really whets my appetite to see the Ron Cobb version. I don't know who Justin has engaged to paint the RC version, but I hope that person aces it with a very faithful-to-source paint app.

    Finally:

"The next Galligantus for pre-order will be painted like the original Ron Cobb illustration from the cover of Famous Monsters of Filmland Yearbook from 1968. Here is the header card by @brent.ashe Details and on sale date soon!"

Photobucket is the latest image hosting site to monetize, now wanting $$$ for third-party direct image links. I'm sure Imgur will do the same some day. Forums around the world are now filled with dead image links.

@eckotyper i posted my gripes in the Fuck You thread, but essentially Photobucket broke everyone's links until they pay $40 a month, or $400 a year. Not happening with me. So I'm currently searching for alternatives.
