THANK YOU!!! Son of a bee, I had the damn character in my head, and I could not think of the cereal!!! One of the few times my descriptive words in Google didn’t garnish me the sought after results! This was my initial guess, as well. Very, very offshoot cereal and character to reference, but that’s pretty much Hikaru’s style with a lot of things.

Yeah, they unfortunately never do overseas toy sales, unless specified by their US availability site. I’m really excited to see this. I have a good few handfuls of older BxH, but it’s awesome they’re goin’ out of their way to provide an opportunity for still bagged archival toys. I’d love to find the red Captain Bounch!
An OG Kid Hunter would be rad. I would be happy to walk away with that and never bother BxH again. I aint greedy

^^^^ Unfortunately I was never able to figure out that whole middleman service... After reading all the horror stories and jacked up prices I just said "Nah."
@666doll I’ve used mine quite heavily over the last couple years with zero complaints! It’s just a proxy for overseas buyers to access Yahoo Auctions Japan. If I come across another Kid Hunter I’ll let you know and see if we can finagle its way into your home!
Love this release but the green is still my favorite. Knowing the history of BxH and what it did for collectors....speaks volumes. I love how odd it is that vinyl colors stand out.
Not only does the black and green feel like a better combo, but the matte finish to the vinyl is just so much nicer to my eyes! I do like this new purple version, though admittedly not enough to actively go for it. I will say I do like that this type of gloss on the vinyl looks to have more of a blow mold feel to the surface. Not quite as high gloss, shimmer black on, say, the first GID head/hand release.
I am thrilled that they keep putting these out as hopefully my chance of getting any colour way will go up! I did spot on ebay some all black ones, but never saw any announcements on the BxH insta. Any word on what these were (ie unique to one store)?
I’ve never heard mention of the all black version. I see one on eBay even now. Odd, but feasible that it was a F&F release I guess.
@Bounch @FLTodd It’s not a legitimate release. The seller is in Japan and also has a listing on YJA where he explains it’s been painted to all match the matte black.
While the Matte versions fit better with the BxH aesthetic, I don't mind the glossy as it would fit in better with most of my collection. Like everyone else, I like the green best. I would, easily and quickly, add this purple 1 to my collection if given the chance though.
So far, the GID is the only version I'd give shelf space to. Hoping for a painted version (and a simultaneous hook-up) one day!
Begs the question: did Skull Kun devour Skull Bee, or is Skull Bee incubating inside Skull Kun and about to hatch, chest-burster style?
