I went looking for the Yusei Majin Moon just now and found him for pre-order on Amazon, and NOT from a secondary seller, but from Amazon itself. (Which shocks me - I had no idea Amazon sold things like this.) It is $290 on Amazon. Was that about what you guys paid or much more?

This was a pre order from last December through medicom.

 

God no. Directly from Medicom they charged 16,000 yen plus EMS shipping. I paid 18,360 with shipping so roughly $184.

No, that was the surprising thing. It says SHIPS FROM AND SOLD BY AMAZON, whicht means it really is amazon selling it directly. If it were a marketplace (secondary) seller, it would clearly show that, even if amazon were fulfilling the order for them through their fulfillment by amazon program. Every marketplace listing clearly has the name of the seller's amazon store and amazon will make it clear that it is a marketplace seller, and not them.

I am surprised they are selling it directly, and also surprised at their price.
