Wow: Um... I appreciate it... I don't love it. I am eager to see it in other colors... but for me the fine-line creepy/kawaii charm of the original is lost here. All-sinister version. A dark Hormorah for dark times. Dat omake though (with nod-to-King-Pep-omake belly spiral??)... YES.
I think I’d like it a lot more if the eyes weren’t going in crazy directions, but I’d totally buy it if I had the cash.
Well, that looks just to be paint (they frequently paint those crossed-up eyes on the standards and the chibis), not sculptural.... wait'll they hit those orbs w/ a solid, pupil-less app... then this thing's gonna look real demonic.

Any time you want to lick a kaiju toy… I’d say that could be considered “mission accomplished” on the part of the maker.
100% agree on both points The original version superbly touches on the creepy/weird vibe without being overly stylized... I can see what they were trying with this "angry" version, but that OG version, with it's blank stare is just perfect in my book. The OG is already gross and creepy enough -- going the opposite way (CUTE) on the lil' guy really works so much better in my opinion. I really need to track one down someday!
Always exciting to see new sculpts from them but echoing the sentiments above, personally not for me! My OG will do the trick just fine. I do love the little mascot-styled omake though - something tells me they are going to be sold as a set but if not, would love to track the little fella down!
This duo is up for grabs on Jet Turre's site starting Tuesday 10/10. Throwing it out there if someone only wants the big ugly fella and wants to let go of the chibi dude - I'm your guy!
