Have to agree with this, it’s chaos outside. I feel like I bump into more people in my suburb whenever I go out now compared to pre COVID. Doesn’t add up.

Also regarding those with family whinging: unpopular opinion but I love isolation because I’m with family, in particular my child. So not to gloat but I wish I could just permanently remain in iso. I understand it’s tough for the rest of the world (DV and child abuse has gone way up) so can I just be the exception? Pretty please Mr Government man. I actually think the outside world is shit and this is the most at peace my mind has been in years. If we learn anything from this, hopefully it’s that the possibility of doing work from home is possible and should be an option at more companies across the world if the employees so see it fit.

A big fuck you to my (future) in-laws. As your typical conservatives who think people who wear masks are sheep and those who rebel against scientific evidence and government mandates are patriots (ironic huh?), they decided to throw a birthday party and invite a bunch of people into their homes. As to how it affects me personally? It continues to put my lady and I in a difficult spot.

Last post, fuck trying to get help if your feeling depressed. Fuck telling the truth and explaining yourself because you want help. Fuck sending cops over after you’ve explained cops have always made it worse for you. Fuck everything just learn to keep your mouth shut.

 

My psych pulled this kind of crap on me, I told her that I wish I could just disappear, and to her that meant “she’s gonna kill herself!!1” She hospitalized me AND dropped me as a patient while I was there. It was like fuck, I was doing my part in trying to get better by being open, like I’m supposed to. Getting hospitalized just made everything so much worse.
Some people just don’t get it. I can say “I wish I’d go to sleep and not wake up”... that doesn’t mean I’m going to kill myself.

 

Derailing this to a (what the) fuck you (just say?)

I threw out a Secret Base tie dyed jacket about a year ago. Today I go to check my mail and bump into two of my neighbours (boomers - one male, one female) from around the block. Guess what he’s wearing? The Secret Base jacket. Of course at this point in time I forgot I chucked it out so started interrogating him: “Did you steal my jacket?” “You can only get that from Japan.” “Did you take it from my clothes line?” The lady uses that as a chance to chime in and say she went to Japan and got it for him and he confirms he’s had it for years. I say that I’ll chalk it up to coincidence, small world etc. I go back to my apartment and tell the wife and she reminds me I threw it out about a year ago. So that means my neighbors have been ransacking my trash and wearing the goods they found. That’s so creepy that I can barely function after the fact but I’m also dying from laughter now I that I can see the bigger picture.
