Dcon was a blast! I already tapped out, as Preview Night and most of Saturday was about all I could tolerate. I ended up skipping today (Sunday) altogether. I slept over 10 hours straight last night, and while I wish I was there to join in the fun, I'm well-rested and playing with the toys I managed to get for myself! While I missed out on all the MVH, PDS, Izumonster, Illsynapse, Paul Kaiju, and most other hotly-desired toys, I walked away with some really awesome stuff that I am very happy to have! David @animator, watching from IG all weekend, your booth was an absolute highlight for me. You had a beautiful booth, and probably more things I would have wanted than anywhere else. The art on the Doji print is also very nicely done. Please keep doing what you do.
Thank you. Doing this for a second year I set a few goals. The first year(2018 ) I kept it low key, worked with friends, and kinda did a trial run. It was successful and fun. This year I wanted to try and bring a few toys to dcon that weren't available in the US, toys I'd have fun drawing, and selfishly toys I wanted to own myself. I thought about it a lot, put in a lot of work, and thankfully it payed off; both with toymakers saying yes to collaborations and fans supporting what we are doing. I can't say enough praise for the support we were given by the toy community as a whole.
those new sick boy billys... anyone know how they stack up with the ogs, quality-wise? the new ones look shinier, and for some reason, like they won’t develop their tipping problem.
Exceedingly happy with my scores this year (including game of hope). I'm super excited to have finally been able to purchase a samurai doll. I was also very impressed with all of the offerings at the H3 booth. Also stoked to have gotten the last of the monochrome black PDS and Sucklord collaboration. Time to start saving for creature bazaar!
agggh I completely forgot that Samurai Doll was there; I really wanted to get one of those Zatoichis!

Quality - wise, they’re great. The joints are tighter, move nicer, and the ice cream is attached to the hand this go, instead of being an “omake” piece. They’re definitely gloss finish, but it’s very, very cleanly done. And there is still a bit of a lean, but they do stand a lot better than the OG’s, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign.
Any D-con vendors posting leftovers today? I imagine most of the good stuff was grabbed up day one, but...
Unfortunately, I lost a good handful of photos during the transfer/editing process. So I sadly do not have additional shots from Blitzkrieg Toys, Bad Omen, more Sour Lemon, Violence Toy and a couple others I can't even remember I shot, but I know there was more. I got a collective 13 hours of sleep over the three days, but it was so worth the deprivation. I'll do/be better at Creature Bazaar. ISH - M1 collab. Spoiler Awesome mini.
