^^ Yeah, he's a cool little fella. People have suggested something he was leaning-on is missing.
Or maybe a wristwatch he was looking at.

I'm slowly finding these at boot-sales . . . they never cost much.

I remember they were still popular in 2008. I visited the huge 'Yodobashi Camera' store in Osaka
and they had tons of them on their toy floor, all nodding away on the shelves.

    ^^ Nice!
I've seen the Superman before, but not Batman.
    They are both great . . . .

Talk-up doll from 1971 by Mattel.

I've seen a few of these recently but they were in terrible condition and the shop
was asking too much. I found this one in great condition for £1 at a boot-sale.
    You just never know!

Her head is on a cord and when you pull it she says many phrases.
    There is a 'Casper' one of these i'd like too . . . . .

SnuggleBumms toy-line from 1986. These were called SnugglePets.
50p at a boot-sale. I think these originally came with a little hairbrush for the troll-like hair.

Why a grown-man like me enjoys little-girls toys like these is a mystery.
    I think visiting Japan really messed with my head . . . . ;)

Lol, I played with a lot of girl toys and dolls until I was 7 or so, pretty much the last half of the 80's, so I have nostalgia and fondness for toys like that as well. I think every girl toy in the 80's had at least a bit of that pastel pink on it somewhere.

^^ Yep, nothing wrong with some pastel pink :)

I found this one at my local Vintage market. Its a bit thread-bare but still in good condition.
I had to extensively clean the vinyl which had a few layers of grime. These had a lot more fur
    when new.

    Rauls Happy Gang Furry Rabbit
    1960's/70's. £3.

Found another vintage Dakko-chan. This was the company mascot of 'Takara' until it was deemed a racist caricature and changed in the 80's.
£2 at a boot-sale . . . . most likely 1970's. Lenticular eyes that change depending on the angle you view them from.

    Little flocked-vinyl nodding dogs. I'm guessing 70's or 80's but who knows . . .
    20p each at a boot-sale.

^^ Yeah, great find. I knew Marx had toys made all over . . . but i had no idea about Marx stuff being made in Japan.

I assume the 'Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer' name means this is the Scarecrow character from The Wizard of Oz?
    It looks old enough . . . .

Seems like maybe he used to squeak. Can't see any markings. Anyone know who he is?

    ^^
He looks like many cute creations made by various companies like Sun Rubber, Combex or Lone Star.
A lot of Combex sculpts turn up without a stamp for example.
Its most likely not a 'licensed' character but an original sculpt by the manufacturer . . . .
