i think tossy is painting himself. he mentioned that this brainbug scheme is one of the most complicated to date, hence the low output per day. amazing that he offered this as an open order. i wonder how many eventually ordered given the relatively high price and low flipping value
Soften him up with the hairdryer and pop the head off to get to the light. It becomes more difficult if he's got an inner skull when reattaching the head. Personally for me, when they die, they die. Not a very hard task to get at the light, but I just don't care enough.
I opened it last night. I came to the same conclusion. As cool as the lights look I don't have the patients to get the light out.
My bad, I don't know why I assumed it was the Painted Brain Bug. Probably because I can't stop thinking about it after having to pass on him and convincing myself that I wanted to. This behaviour will surely come up in therapy somewhere down the line....
I wasn't a fan of it when I first saw it (lulubells boogie) but now I'm wishing I woulda got it. But $200 is pretty pricey. $125 I woulda got it. Ohh well. Can't win them all.
@hagardjoe. Yeah, it was the price that killed it for me. The amount of work that goes into some of the 0-1000's and they go for roughly the same price, couldn't justify breaking myself over it unfortunately.
Same here... $200 too much for me right now. Later on, i'm sure i'll regret not getting it. (same with the recent Secret Base FLV ... price was good but I passed on it as well.) Must be the winter blahs
Being a made-to-order run like the GID Ball-Man or the Kinkeshi Brain Bug, I'm sure you'll see a bunch of them on the aftermarket for not much more than retail.
Anyone have any tips on how to stop this happening? Thought I finally had it nailed and could properly display my mini spookies by using removable 'glu dots' on their feet. Went out, came back: would you look at this stupid shit? Driving me mental. Anyone figured a way to make theirs stand?
When I had mine, I heated the feet up super hot, repositioned it and held it there until the vinyl cooled off.

I went to the Secret Base shop today in Tokyo, i talk a little bit with the seller and he told me there will be a release of a boogie man next week ( Sunday ), any news about it? Pictures? ( he only speaks English a little bit so it was hard to gather other information...)
