@bryce_r , Thank You!!! I was trying to find that photo, but couldn't remember where it was. I think the "standard" green version in Ralph's photo, is different from the "fresh" one. The dead give away is the white horn in the "fresh" version, as Michael puts it

You're welcome, thanks to all of you for your great job on this database. I should do the same for U.S.TOYS but just by thinking about the numbers of color variants I begin to sweat...

 

Do one for U.S.Toys. Honestly when I started the Butanohana database it was just a small personal project I wanted to do for myself. I felt the same way about it when I started- overwhelmed! BUT the actual site has archives (I assume- haven't been in awhile) so you can get loads of pics from there and I found people on SB are very gracious in helping with the pics.

 

Since it's a quiet night....

By the way I just noticed by chance that my 3 dinos was GID, I had not suspected that when I saw them. So I presume all the new batch in the 4 colors is GID to.

 

Most likely, Buta is burning through old stock of unpainted dinos. The dark green and cream vinyl figures were from 2007. If the neon colors are GID, they are from the Grumble Toy exclusive set in 2008. This would also explain why the new dinos are so limited.

Once he uses up all of the old stock, chances are that we will not see any more dinos for a while.

Hi! Am confused again. Did Mr. O ever collaborate with larger toy producers besides on that medicom goji? Like, say, a baltan for M1? Tanks in advance.

Iguanodon on pink vinyl with purple patches, showed up on Mandarake 7/29/17 (I think!). Alas, I wasn't there to adopt him... but I hope a fellow boardie was the lucky one!


p.s. Deevis tells me the pink hand-paint iggy, is probably a gentle GID vinyl (see those pinkie white toes!)

 

Hmmmm... well, I don't think you should be depressed or cranky, seeing as you prolly have the most complete buta collection amongst us here!

 

pink iguanadon sure looked nice; sorry that I totally missed that! Did one of you get the eyrops on YJA? I think that it went to 40k ¥ or thereabouts. Yikes.
