the Queen is a very cool new figure. Stand about an inch and a half or so above a standard xenomorph. will try to get comparison shots in better lighting tomorrow.

Considering how this one looks more like the first alien that was pearl grey i bet you the next one will be the pure black version. But i could be wrong. To be honest im cool with pretty much any color for the Queen Alien!
I know the site says otherwise but wasn't the first release the unpainted black? I remember it selling out at SDCC, and the grey version release following shortly after. Correct me if i'm wrong!
Its been awhile since we have heard anything from the new Queen sofubi sculpt. Im really hoping we get a few more awesome color mixes soon. I have a feeling SDCC will be the next one. I could be wrong though.
Well i just picked up a molten Queen Alien color wave sofubi figure! Updating this topic with an actual pic. I feel like the tail or something on this particular sofubi piece needs to be longer to keep better stability. The normal alien seems to stand up better than this guy does.
Hoping for a few more color waves before there done with this sculpt. Shes really awesome despite the balance issues.
Really? It could just be the table i have it sitting on. Ill try it on some different surfaces. Shes really cool i just feel like the color waves are coming out really slow for this one. I hear you on that one. There is a couple of the regular Alien i don't own yet. But some places are charging an arm and a leg just to have one figure lol.
As for balance on the queen, some seem to have legs that have settled in a position where they're a bit close together and will fall over more easily. My wife has been on me to get all of these from the start. It hasn't been easy, there were a lot of the original and I hope they do the same for the queen. I'd like to see crazier colors like lime green with hot pink splatter (or vice versa), purple, and domes in colors other than clear. Maybe pairs with both the original and queen!
Absolutely! Different colored domes sounds awesome. Maybe 4 or 5 (one must be GID) domes packaged with a completely clear alien. If only the underside of the dome glowed, it might look amazing shining downward throughout the alien's clear body.
sort of a bummer that only 1 alien was released this year. (Alien Sinister Sandstorm) I know the market is there. Still would love to see more.

The Queen is super cool but the Big Chap is where its still at for me. There are quite a few combinations they can still do with the piece. Heck we haven't even seen a straight up yellow version of it yet ether. Lots of colors of the rainbow yet to make. Hell im up for a straight pink drone!
Though the focused may have switched, there were only two releases done of the queen this year. That seems to be considerably less than the releases done for the big chap previously if I remember correctly. Regardless i'd still like to see s7 continue to show some love for the queen without forgetting their previous sculpt. Maybe a 2-pack?
I live in the past. Still bitterly missing the glow one. This has been one great series! And yes, because chestbursters (could it happen?)
Well nothing at the NYTF this year that I've seen so far.. here's hoping for a new Queen or Chap figure sooner than soon!
