There is no deleting, but your post is only there once as far as I can tell.you did just double post , though. Also those are really cool boxes. As much as o like the Ol bag and header I really really like a good box. (lol)
So great to see that the mask comes off. I was beginning to doubt after seeing every seem in the preorders uncut.
Someone please explain the interest in this Pushead branded platform toy. Yet another bubble waiting to burst, or maybe not.
I have absolutely no doubt that more than one of these will be ordered with a glide and a left-click atop a Misfits mousepad.
I don't know how these are even considered Pushead, it's more like a bunch of watercolor-like splotches enveloping a bear. Is he just slapping his name on everything now? And haha, shirts advertising pants. I never understood that. I still refuse to wear self-advertising clothing... You already got my money, I don't have to be a walking billboard.
To be fair - that's Bearbricks. A lot of collabs take an abstract element from an artist's style and use that as the design for the platform toy. That watercolour wash is a big element of a lot of Pushead drawings, even though it ends up being covered up by his linework.
I can see how some line work would look really cool on a Bearbrick, though... Kind of like a crazy tattoo. I think I just don't really "get" platform toys.
Probably in the WAY minority but I love the hamburger lamp. Not a huge fan of the all black because you can't see the details but it's pretty cool .
Glad to see this, colours look a bit different from the originals (which isn't a bad thing) but happy to see that the mask comes off.
FWIW I like this pushead thing and I'm not really a fan (not against it either) of his work. I just thought that all over watercolor look on something so big is cool. I also had no idea you could get a 11" bearbrick for ~100$ , I will have to keep this in mind..
I'm not sure if the same process will be used for this new blue version but the original "secret" release of the 100% Pushead wash brick last year used a method that produced unique patterns on every bearbrick. The texture is definitely the same as the secret version (just different colour) but as this is just a standard release they may just go with a reproduced print of an identical watercolour wash for these. BTW keep your eyes peeled Leili - there are a ton of great 400% Bearbrick releases from over the years out there for around $100. They are some of the most sturdy, well-built toys I have ever owned
the 400% pushead bearbricks, which were a standard release, also had the same unique watercolor patters applied fear not, from cjmart's listing: "※Due to the water printing, there are individual differences in this product."
Just an fyi... If you haven't seen a video of water-printing (I know there's another name for it, but I just can't think of it right now) then you definitely have to take a moment to do so. Basically, paint is floated on the surface of a water tank and then an object is dipped in, with the floated paint "wrapping around" the object as its dipped. It's absolutely wild to watch!
