Im in the East Coast contingent, I will be there in spirit tho. Don't worry tho your show will be KICK ASS!
I want to but_________ I have to color my hair that night. To lazy in my old age to drive round trip from LA just to possibly grab a toy. Best of luck on the show though.
Mori has to make it to SDCC this year. I offered to pay his way last year and he still didn't make it. I would love to see a set of 5 figures released over the five day event. We also need to convince him to sell his customs. He doesn't really comprehend the idea that Super7 can do a show and get the figs in the hands of the fans. Hopefully he will come around soon. IF you tried to do this in Tokyo it would be a flip fest but with S7 watching over it I think it would work out, just look at the Pushead stuff.
ah the lesser spotted mook, lets hope it aint pushed back again !! love to be there but living in the UK puts a downer on things like that, plus planning trip to japan and sdcc for next year !
Well said. 5 figure release, one each day of SDCC? This would be amazing. Mori hand paints are the stuff that RxH dreams are made of.....helping to make sure that keeping the figures in the hands of fans....even better.
Yeah that'd be killer. See, if he made it to SDCC there's a good chance, too, that non-West coasters could get some hand paints. A show at S7 is not something I can throw money down to fly out and get 1 toy, hand paint or not. But SDCC is something MOST of us try to hit, no matter where we are in the States. Otherwise it's only convenient/affordable for people who live on the West or for those of us who don't but can toss money round to fly out for this sort of thing. With Mori, it seems, it's all about getting the toys into the hands of fans, NOT just those of us with big enough wallets. Just cause someone pays hundrends and hundreds of dollars for these toys doesn't mean the love them any more than someone who can just buy 1 $65 figure a month or so.
