awesomeness personified. that's one great score. congrats josh! now send it to me so that he can hulk over his bastard gargamel step children.
fo shizzle, shits dope dood! But seriously, now we need a photo of it paired with a Rokuron. Very nice!
Goddamn he looks big. What an awesome sculpt! One of the most interesting things about this hobby for me is seeing the various versions and cross pollinization of characters. Congrats Josh. More pics when you get a chance.
Congrats Josh you finally landed the amazing wolf monkey! Like the contrast on this version between the greenish face and darker body. C.
here is a photo with the gargamel rokuron for comparison. i cant stop playing with this toy, it is easily one of my favorites! new toys are always exciting, but this one carries the excitement and satisfacion that only comes with a great deal of time and effort spent in tracking it down. i believe the appropriate term is 'booyah.' the vinyl is sort of medium-thickness, i guess. not as thin as a lot of vintage figures, but not as thick as the modern norm. i dont know what his official name is, although i know it is made by yonezawa. somewhere i have a scan of an old yonezawa advertisement with this guy on it, ill see if i can get someone who reads japanese to take a look whenever i remember.
Do they all have green faces and orange tits? I thought I remembered seeing others that weren't sporting the paint.
My knowledge is that there were two versions. The more common Brown paint w/ Green face Orange tits like the one Josh picked up. Then there are some that you see where the Green paint from the face has faded. Here's a pic from CKA to show the comparison of the two. Then there's the one where it looks like just Brown paint on Red vinyl.
