Hiro's thread has NOTHING to do with this..he's providing a background story for actual real head production pieces. what does this provide? a thread showing off a custom, or what appears to be a custom. hence it belongs in the custom thread. if it is a new real x head figure, by all means keep it here. it's cool to post your stuff, just post it in the correct forum. liquid has a good point.some of us are sick of seeing the same stuff over and over again in every forum on this board. *cough* blood splatter
Just saying that stuff like this continues to blur the line between legit production pieces and customs. Not saying that people can't do customs (though I hate them) or post photos of customs. Just post it in the appropriate section. I still believe that customs, acetone baths and replicas are making it increasingly difficult to determine what is real and what is an experiment in someone's basement.

Lets assume it is a new production piece, getting the benefit of the doubt at this point. Personally my guess its a new colorway because after looking at it, the paint seems a little sloppy around the teeth and eyes to me (just my opinion) I could be wrong though. don't let the bright lights and pretty colors fool you... I do agree though, if it is a custom, put it where it belongs... redhanded

The term itself is not limited to just that interpretation. As a comparison to a purist, such as yourself, avant-garde would be a fitting description for customs.
